Google live transcribe is the BEST because of the dictionary. I have made this request numerous times and never get a response. The concept is good, but they don’t fix their bugs. Five months ago, I complained about some serious problems with correcting the voice recognition issues, they still haven’t been fixed. There are things that will not get right and there’s no way to correct it with the keyboard because your corrections get erased the minute you drop the keyboard from the screen. It’s accurate when it’s quiet. Later this morning we will test its accuracy in a group with some background noise. My spouse is deaf and uses google live transcribe on an android phone, with mixed results. If this works well, we’re trading his Motorola in for an iPhone. If there is a way to get the screen to rotate, I’d love to know how, so the phone can rest on a flat surface. If not, please find a way to make that happen. The app is fair but it lagged several times and did not accurately transcribe my interviewer.
