*2025-12-06, version 4.4.3*

I would probably pay to buy this app but I will never agree to an ongoing subscription.

*2025-07-23*

No, really. It’s great. My brain thanks you Jeff.

Kindly add celsius options please

**Developer response:** Hi! Thanks for leaving a review! The app does show Celsius. Can you email me directly and let me know what celsius options you would like? You can reach me at contact@weathergo.co.

### 3/5 — Buying > Subscription

*2025-07-17, version 4.2.0*

Another okay app that isn’t worth their subscription price but would be fine to buy.

### 5/5 — Great

*2025-07-08*

Exactly what I was looking for! I wanted both F and C.

**Developer response:** Great to hear! Thanks for taking the time to leave a review!! - Chris

### 5/5 — This is beginning to be my favorite weather app!

*2025-04-11*

This is simple and powerful and doesn’t provide all of the intricate details that other sources may however it works quite well with them and that’s a blessing in disguise. This is a mission-role divider, redivider and claim maker in one app. Pleased to spend much time using this.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the review! - Chris

### 5/5 — Cool

*2025-02-23, version 4.1.4*

Awesome app! Thank you Jeff

### 3/5 — Good app—overpriced

*2025-02-16, version 4.1.4*

I miss the days when you could buy an app once and at a fair price. Software subscriptions are terrible— they bleed you dry.

### 5/5 — Broken Widget

*2024-10-15*

The Widget now is showing a completely different weather measurement from the real one of my city and also from what it shows inside the app as well (also my city)🚨 Please 🙏 Fix this✌️

**Developer response:** So sorry for this issue. Can you please email me directly at contact@weathergo.co so I can figure out what’s going on? You can also email me from the app by tapping “Contact Us” on the settings screen. - Chris

### 3/5 — Just okay

*2024-09-13, version 3.8.9*

I like that it has both Celsius and Fahrenheit. However, you’d think they made it for adolescents with how they’re trying to be all cute with the profanity. Also, the graphics don’t speak weather to me. Not much more info than the basics

### 5/5 — Love having degrees F & C together

*2024-05-04*

Good app

**Developer response:** Thanks so much for the review! -Chris

### 5/5 — Finally! Thank you

*2024-03-24, version 3.8.1*

Finally can train myself on C v F

### 3/5 — Needs to be cheaper

*2023-10-26*

Found another app that does this for free. It just doesn’t feel like a smart financial decision to pay $12/year for this. I know it’s not that much, but these days, every other app also asks for subscriptions, so it adds up. A weather app is just not going to make the cut for subscriptions worth paying for. At the very least, it should be a 1 time charge/lifetime subscription. Very nice aesthetics tho!

**Developer response:** Thanks for your review. There is a free tier for the app that you can use, but unfortunately it costs me money to use the weather data services and to keep the app up and running, so it is not viable for me to provide this app totally for free or for a one time cost (the more people use the app, the more it costs me). Thanks for taking the time to leave a review and I hope you give us another shot in the future. -Chris

### 5/5 — Super Useful!

*2023-10-04*

This app has been great in helping me learn and understand the Celcius scale as well as I know the Fahrenheit scale. It is a wonderful resource is IOS17.

Customer Service is simply outstanding! I had a few issues and wrote to the developer. As others have said here, Chris wrote back immediately and followed up several times until the issues were resolved. This is the best app developer experience I have had.

### 4/5 — Edit: Great app, would be better if voice could be turned off

*2023-09-28*

Fantastic app does everything it says, would be better if the “Voice” feature could be toggled off (“Voice” leaves a text-comment on the homescreen about the weather)

**Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback. You can turn the weather comments off from the settings menu under “voice”. - Chris

### 5/5 — C and F!!!!

*2023-05-29*

Why is it so hard to out C and F in one app? I don’t know but Weather Go did it and that’s why I downloaded the app. Since then, I’ve come to love it for more reasons that that: it’s easy to read, accurate, and the widgets are great. :-) I upgraded to Pro!

**Developer response:** Thanks so much for the review! It is much appreciated! - Chris

### 1/5 — bugs

*2025-07-27*

The GPS system currently in use does not accurately reflect my location. When I install it, it displays only my original position, and even if I move to another country, it continues to show the previous location without any updates. This lack of real-time updating is quite frustrating.

**Developer response:** (update Aug 5: this bug has been fixed. Please update your app to see the changes. -Chris)

Hi! Thanks for the review. This is a known bug. I am currently working on a fix for this. I will let you know as soon as it so released.

Thanks again, and I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. -Chris

### 1/5 — Missing

*2025-07-23*

I was able to get this for free on “Free app of the Day”. What a let down, no radar???, no way would I pay for a subscription to a weather app without radar. Radar is part of weather, the color choice in this app is awful. My suggestion like Shark Tank Kevin O’Leary says “take it out back and bury/shoot it. 👎👎👎

Also noticed this app wants to track “purchases”??? WHY??? This is supposed to be a weather app, not a spy/data collector. 😞😖🤬

**Developer response:** Hi there, and thanks for taking the time to leave a review.

Sorry to hear the app didn’t meet your expectations. I know radar is important for some users, and it’s something I’d love to add in the future. As a solo indie dev, I have to prioritize features based on what’s realistic with my time and resources.

You mentioned getting the app for free (thank you for checking it out!). I run these promos so people can try it without risk. Totally fair if it’s not your style. Design is personal, and I appreciate the feedback.

On the data side, I don’t sell or collect personal info. Analytics are just for crash reports or general app usage. I’m not a spy, I promise.

Thanks again for the honest review.

### 1/5 — Paid version glitch

*2023-12-01*

For a while now there is an issue. Every time I open the app it has reverted to showing New York City instead of my city. Also it always shows that it’s 80 degrees Fahrenheit in NYC instead of the actual temperature which is currently 44 degrees Fahrenheit. If I search for my location and then NYC it will then show the correct temperatures for both but it is a little tedious to have to repeat my search location every time I open the app, especially with a paid version. If it weren’t for this issue, this would be a 5 star app, for me.

**Developer response:** Thanks for your review, I apologize for this issue. I will dig in a try to fix this ASAP. I do have some follow up questions to help me debug, so if you wouldn't mind emailing me at contact@weathergo.co, it would be greatly appreciated! I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. - Chris

### 1/5 — Not worth subscription

*2023-02-05, version 3.4.2*

There is nothing free in this APP.. misleading marketing to get to a 12$ subscription a year is dishonest and not worth it

### 1/5 — Wrong New York temperature

*2022-11-16, version 3.3.3*

I had this app installed for 5 minutes during which time it said that the temperature here in New York was 39 Fahrenheit when the weather app said 44. also the timeline view in this app said 44 at the current time. I kind of need to know the right temperature.

### 1/5 — Needs help

*2022-08-20, version 3.3.0*

Cumbersome
Not user friendly

### 1/5 — Stupid app

*2022-01-14, version 3.1.3*

What a bummer, no way to use the app without subscription.

### 1/5 — Latest release broke everything

*2021-11-18, version 3.1.0*

Since the app was updated 2 days ago, the widget no longer works (white with grey splotches) and going into the app it only shows weather for New York, not the city I live in and can’t select any other city. I realize you are trying to upsell people, but this app which was mildly useful before is now completely worthless in free version.

### 1/5 — Not accurate

*2021-11-15, version 3.0.6*

Not accurate. Off by more than 5 degrees F

### 1/5 — No (free) widgets

*2021-06-09, version 3.0.0*

Was interested in the app for the widgets it mentions.

WeatherGO is nowhere to be seen in the widgets options, neither in the new iOS 14 widgets (the + symbol on the top left of the screen) or the old version of widgets (the “customise” option at the bottom of the widgets.

Since the “pro” subscription model says “more” widgets available when subscribed, this would imply there is supposed to be at the very least ONE available widget for free. But nada.

this was on an iPhone Xr iOS 14

### 5/5 — Excellent App

*2026-08-26*

I’ve used WeatherGO for a few years now and the app is excellent. Love having both Celsius and Fahrenheit on the screen and option to add multiple locations.Customer service is also super responsive which is great.

### 5/5 — Christmas Christmas

*2026-03-29, version 4.6.0*

My new Christmas Christmas

### 5/5 — Coolest weather app

*2025-11-12*

There’s always a fun message about the weather. The main reason I have WeatherGo though is because it shows both Fahrenheit And Celsius at the same time. And of course the weather is always accurate. I spend a lot of time between California and Canada, but am not great with Celsius l…yet. But thanks to weatherGo I can either see the weather, or click on the converter where you can put whatever temperature using either measurement and the other one will display simultaneously.

**Developer response:** Thanks for taking the time to leave a review! Much appreciated! - Chris

### 5/5 — This is beginning to be my favorite weather app!

*2025-10-27, version 4.3.10*

This is simple and powerful and doesn’t provide all of the intricate details that other sources may however it works quite well with them and that’s a blessing in disguise. This is a mission-role divider, redivider and claim maker in one app. Pleased to spend much time using this.

### 5/5 — Would love to see the rain forecast in mm.

*2025-09-28, version 4.3.9*

It would be great if you could include the rain forecast amount in mm.

### 5/5 — Finally i got used to the American Farenheit system

*2025-08-24, version 4.3.5*

This app did help me to get used to the Farenheit. I just set this app to the lockscreen. Thanks for that

### 5/5 — C and F at the same time

*2025-08-15, version 4.3.4*

Metric and Imperial on the same screen, together at last. Humorous forecast descriptions are a plus! Uses your native weather app’s information.

### 5/5 — C & F

*2025-08-07*

I love being able to see C & F at the same time as I often go to the USA and have never been able to calculate the difference between the two ;- ))
Being in France I would love to know which is the most recommended weather source.
OTOH I’m not crazy about the apps colors but can live with it…

**Developer response:** Thanks for the review! Much appreciated! - Chris
