Home Page is difficult to navigate. News articles are randomised. 2. News articles are not chronological timeline, older version updated the latest news on top and was instantly available. 3. Random search results even when specific keywords are used to search for articles. 4. Saved articles are no longer bookmarked/accessible. 5. Articles updated via notifications are not accessible when you tap on it, instead it takes you to the home page. Clarification: The low rating/review is only with regard to the app and the user interface. There is no doubt regarding the quality of reporting from LiveLaw. ### 3/5 — Great source, poor app *2026-07-28* While LiveLaw is a great source of legal news, the actual app is really poor. The search function still doesn’t show results properly, the orientation on iPad keeps bugging, and often the pages get wobbly while scrolling. For a premium subscription cost, a basic workable app shouldn’t be that difficult to operate ### 2/5 — Interface *2025-09-08, version 1.99.7* App interface is poor. When a user searches for a specific topic, such as GST, the results also include unrelated matters (for example, cases under the SC/ST Act and other statutes), which makes it difficult to locate relevant information efficiently. The platform should introduce Act-wise search functionality so that users can specifically filter results under a particular statute. Additionally, party name–wise search,along with other structured search options, should be incorporated to enhance accuracy and usability. At present, the search engine is not sufficiently user-friendly and does not effectively meet the needs of professionals. Improving the search architecture and introducing refined filtering mechanisms should be a priority to ensure that users can retrieve precise and relevant information quickly. ### 1/5 — An unethical and worst app *2025-09-09, version 1.99.7* The app is commercialising legal news which is already part of public domain. Further inspite of charging so high for their subscription it’s not working properly. Every time I had to logged into daily which is very frustrating. Please don’t fall for their contents. Don’t buy their subscription there are multiple good sites to look upon and research upon. ### 1/5 — Scam *2025-04-15* I recently subscribed to your 6-month plan, expecting uninterrupted access to all your premium content. However, despite the active subscription, I am unable to access articles, videos, and several other features. The website continues to prompt me to subscribe again, which is both confusing and frustrating. Please look into this technical issue urgently and ensure that my subscription is properly activated. I hope for a quick resolution. ### 1/5 — App lagging way too much. *2024-07-27* This newer version is lagging too much, I’m a premium user and I’m not able to access settings in the App, also not able to access my saved articles. I’ve reinstalled app hundreds of times. My premium subscription is going in vain. Whenever I press the back button it takes too much time to function and many times it crashes. Kindly resolve the issue at the earliest. ### 1/5 — Articles not saving *2024-04-28, version 1.98.4* While you tap on “save article” option, app reflects the pop up showing article has been saved but when you search it in saved articles, it isn’t there. App shows error when trying to access it. Please fix it at the earliest. Also bring horizontal orientation for Ipad. I have checked that I have the latest version and have updated the software on my phone. The app does not even open if you click on it. Despite membership reflecting on my account while accessing through desktop, same is not reflected on the app. Even otherwise app keeps getting stuck on various screens. ### 1/5 — Puch Notification opens as a blank page in app *2023-06-30* Whenever a notification pops up and i click upon it to read then the app opens and a blank page appears which only has a option for “Back” . Certainly this is a bug which needs to he fixed as itself it is hard to find the same story from scrolling top to bottom to search your topic which you intended to read. I hope the team will look into this matter ### 1/5 — Issue with log in and bookmarks *2023-01-04* Despite having the taken the 6 month subscription, each time I am automatically logged out of the app and to log in an absolute hassle. The app malfunctions each time I try to log in and in most cases, it never happens and it’s a colossal waste of time. In addition to that, all items bookmarked are no longer there, creating an added burden to have to locate those again. So what is the issue with the app? Why is there so much of repeated malfunctioning ? It’s very sad to see such reputed sites come under limelight for failing to fix such ridiculous technology issues.
