### 1/5 — No longer working with iOS update

*2021-04-08, version 2.5.2*

This program worked great for a couple years . I used it live on stage in front of thousands of people unfortunately with the new iOS update the program is no longer working. Reached out to Tech Support no response

### 1/5 — LiveTrax

*2021-02-13, version 2.5.2*

I just lost my entire library of my karaoke tracks! Wow! Thank God I have them all on iTunes!

### 2/5 — Broke after iOS 14.2 update

*2020-12-10, version 2.5.2*

This was the best track player out there, but after the latest iOS update it no longer works and app creators are no where to be found. Time to look for a new app or an old iPad.

### 1/5 — Not working with new iOS 14.1

*2020-11-10*

I’ve been using LiveTrax for the past few years but unfortunately it’s just become total unusable with the latest iOS update.
I did contact support but have had no reply or acknowledgment whatsoever.
Disappointed.

### 1/5 — No longer working

*2020-10-30, version 2.5.2*

I’ve used this app for a couple of years and it’s worked just as I’ve needed it to. But about a month ago, the app has mysteriously stopped working. It will no longer play any tracks except the last track on the screen. I’ve tried other playlists with the same result. I’ve email the company/app developer explaining that the app doesn’t work a few weeks ago, and the company still has not replied or attempted to remedy the issue. I tried calling the phone number earlier today and got an automatic Verizon voicemail saying this number has been disconnected or is no longer in service. Maybe Apple can reach out to the developers and find some answers?

### 1/5 — Something went wrong

*2020-10-13, version 2.5.2*

This has always been one of my best apps, but now for some reason, it just stopped working correctly. I deleted it and reinstalled, but still wouldn’t work right.

### 1/5 — iOS 14

*2020-09-18*

I have used LiveTrax from iOS 7 with ITunes and recently with Apple Music and iOS 13. I’ve just upgraded to iOS 14 and can confirm it no longer works with Apple Music playlists. Is LiveTrax still supported?

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2020-02-24*

iPad 3rd gen, not working can’t load playlists or tracks! Refund required

### 1/5 — Does not work

*2019-12-20*

App will not play any tracks. It just skips to the next track and does not play anything. Old app maybe not compatible with current iPads.
Refund required !

### 4/5 — Needs its own playlists!

*2019-12-06*

I use this app to gig with my band. It’s ALMOST perfect for our needs (firing playback tracks + a click during live gigs).
But in our last gig we hit a snag: The app only uses playlists from iTunes.
iTunes was crashing when we try to create a new playlist, which meant we couldn’t make a playlist for the gig at all. Had to keep switching playlists between songs, which means we went a little longer than usual from one song to the next. This has a BAD impact on the audience.
There’s so much other stuff in this app that’s actually HARD to code. Adding a playlist editor should be a breeze. Please do it.

### 2/5 — Couldn’t import direct from the file

*2019-02-27, version 2.5.2*

Do I have to use iTunes to load a file? Why will it not just airdrop into the app?

### 3/5 — No updates within a year.

*2019-02-02, version 2.5.2*

Used this app for some time now. Has a few glitches but guess no fixes. Hasn’t been updated within a year. Noticed a volume drop while song plays that it didn’t have. Sometimes when touching a new song the last song keeps playing. Also noticed a crack looking streak across the second button for what ever reason. Guess programmer lost interest in updating it. Was great! Over a year now.

### 2/5 — Hmm

*2018-05-21, version 2.5.2*

This would be great if it didn’t crash every other track I played...wish I could get a refund. :(

### 4/5 — Awesome update!

*2018-01-03, version 2.5.2*

I liked it okay enough before, but this new version is really nice! It crashed a few times after I tried it, but I discovered the playlist I was referencing was empty (it closed and caused some random other music to play which was weird, but oh well). Now I tried it with a bunch of songs in a real playlist and it’s much better.
This is a great app to use for dance shows, etc. from a iPhone. Couple things would enhance it further; being able to make a playlist within the app itself (not referencing iTunes playlists), maybe even ability to use music from other music apps (Amazon or Spotify if the song was downloaded), the song time counters (up/remaining) ought to be much bigger and prominent, and it would be even more great if the volume for each track in the playlist was saved with the “show”.
Awesome work and a useful tool for anyone not wanting to spend way more for QLab/Go Button! Sometimes this is all you need!!!

### 4/5 — Great

*2017-03-18*

I have been using this app on iPad / iPhone for the last three years for stage shows. Never let me down. It could use an option to move tracks ( drag & drop ) that would be the icing.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2023-12-20*

Four screens that do nothing, don’t waste you money

### 1/5 — Stay away from this app!

*2023-09-08*

This product didn’t even come close to working on an iPhone or an iPad. It triggered the wrong songs from the wrong library and was completely unreliable. In my case, I couldn’t possibly use it for live events as it is worse than not working at all — it’s fully unpredictable and only plays the wrong thing. Apple, I tried to request a refund from you. I suspect now that the app is a scam.

### 1/5 — When it plays it is so so

*2022-12-12, version 2.5.2*

So, you have to create a playlist in the order that you want before you import it. You cannot rearrange that once it is imported. You are stuck with the order as is it is in the playlist. 15 tiles per page is a little shy of the 20 that I am used to. To tap a tile will sometimes play the cue most times it doesn’t. To play from the play page, you may get the song that is displayed but most times you get the next song in the line up. Extremely frustrating to use. The % indicator in the center of the play screen doesn’t give a clear indicator as to what that % is related to. Supposedly the tile is supposed to show the progress of the track as it plays, it turns yellow when it plays(and that is a hit or miss) and then is suppose to turn blue showing what has been played. Not so much. I have been using another track play back app that allows a tap and drag to arrange. You cannot choose a tile and tap it for play. Hit or miss at best. And mostly miss. Good thing it was only $1.99+ tax. Very disappointed. A great concept but execution is absolutely abismal!

### 1/5 — Not compatible

*2022-08-08, version 2.5.2*

Downloaded and will not let me import a playlist. No help to tell me how or get a refund. Don’t download this.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2022-06-27*

If you really have nothing better than wasting your time and getting a headache buy this absolutely useless ‘app’.
I thought there was something wrong with my ipad then I put it on another ipad and it did the same useless thing.
It does not work, don’t buy, it’s absolutely rubbish.
Don’t go cheap, you waste your time.

### 1/5 — Want refund

*2022-03-26, version 2.5.2*

Just purchased …can’t transfer audio…no support available.

### 1/5 — Cool interface but really needs an update badly.

*2022-02-23, version 2.5.2*

Cool interface but hasn’t been updated in a very long time now. 4 years? Has performance problems on my 2021 iPad Pro. Had to stop using it. There’s no way to change the order of songs in a playlist or add songs to a playlist. The interface only works in the vertical orientation. Currently, songs aren’t playing in the grid layout and switching to the button interface comes to a different song.

### 1/5 — No stars

*2021-10-03*

Useless, can’t make it play anything, just skips all but one track in my library.

### 1/5 — LiveTrax

*2021-08-11, version 2.5.2*

Terrible! Does not work! Waste of money!

### 1/5 — Useless in iOS 14

*2021-07-06*

Downloaded the app and it’s utterly useless in iOS 14. Doesn’t play the chosen song but randomly plays a different tune. Waste of money!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — LiveTrax

*2022-11-03*

I have used this app on my Ipad for a couple of yeras now. It's very user friendly and simple to use. It works from itunes or applemusic playlists. Great display facilities, super fast responses. The only problem I ever had was trying to delete a song from a playlist as that can only be done in the itunes/applemusic playlist. I think it a brilliant app and I use it for all my live performances.

### 5/5 — Great App for soundtracks!

*2018-09-04, version 2.5.2*

Love this App! As a choir director whatever I use it has to be reliable every time! I use this app on 3 different devices: choir iPad is set up to run split tracks L/R to two channels, specials iPad is set up to run to a single channel, then there is my iPhone which keeps me ready no matter where I go if I am called upon to sing. I have all my tracks with me everywhere I go. This has become an indispensable tool! Great job!

### 5/5 — You’re need an app for playing to track... this is it!

*2018-03-03*

Amazing app, SO MUCH cheaper than the rest and the ‘player’ function offers you a handy percentage meter to see how far into a song you are, really hand for excessively long songs! Also the battery meter is a bonus!

HOWEVER, there is a small bug which I have figured out! Luckily we were in rehearsals when we found it out not a live show... on the ‘Cue pads’ section you have 15 cues on each page... say if you press the first cue then press stop (or not) then you scroll over to the next page and press the first cue one page 2 which Is a different MP3 the previous one will play instead of the new one just selected... so say if you had ‘rolling in the deep’ on the first page as first cue and ‘reign in blood’ as the first cue on the second page, if you press reign in blood then scroll over to rolling in the deep and press it reign in blood would play... a very odd bug and if this was sorted it would be the ULTIMATE playback app! Worth every penny none the less!

### 5/5 — Best Track App going

*2017-09-30*

Been using this for about 3 years now and it’s never skipped a beat. Absolutely cannot play a show without it by my side now. Does everything I need and it’s so simple.

### 5/5 — Does not work with ios11

*2017-09-25, version 2.4.8*

Is there going to be an update soon? It hasn’t worked since I updated to iOS 11.

**Developer response:** Thanks for using LiveTrax! LiveTrax works great with iOS11. If you are still having an issue, please visit the LiveTrax support page at http://mmprod.com/index.php/livetrax-support/.

### 5/5 — Power in Simplicity

*2016-09-07, version 2.4.7*

This is a well designed app that doesn't try to do too much. It works quite well to trigger sound for performances--theater, dance, and the like. When you are in a dark space and you need the right cue and iTunes won't cut it. It is easy to use and does a few specific things well. Hopefully the developers will keep it simple, haven't found a better tool for cueing live sound.

### 5/5 — Great Job on a Great App.

*2016-08-17, version 2.4.3*

Would love to be able to see my battery level while using the app!

### 5/5 — Great App and great support!

*2016-07-19*

A colleague of mine suggested I try LiveTrax after seeing me struggle on-stage with a different app. Once he showed me the User Interface on his iPad I just had to try it out. I wasn't disappointed. It was so easy to use that I could even run tracks easily from my iPhone (I always keep my tracks on my phone as a back-up in case my iPad fails). Other musicians who have seen me use the app (and how could they not notice with that huge play button!) have asked me about it and I encouraged them to try it out. Best of all was customer support. I wrote to the developer, Marty Friend, about some concerns I had with the interface and suggested some improvements to help further prevent any embarrassing mis-cues on stage. To my pleasant surprise, I received an almost immediate, and direct, response from Mr. Friend. My suggestions were considered and improvements were quickly implemented in an update. Very Professional!

### 5/5 — The best!!

*2016-05-18, version 1.3.4*

I sing Christian music. As a soloist, I need to have instant access to all my tracks immediately. LiveTrax is exactly what I needed. I've used it for several years now, and NEVER had a problem. Flawless & awesome!!

### 5/5 — Fantastic update!!

*2016-05-02*

Cooool !
The latest update just flashes the logo for half a second and then crashes.
