I’ve tried two different email accounts to activate the app. Never get the activation email no matter how many times I have them resend. And their online “contact” form is a joke - it doesn’t have an actual send button. Clever, if you’re trying to NOT interact with your customers. This was actually recommended as the best route mapping app by an NY Times writer. Maybe they get the functional version, who knows?

I tried signing up, but the sign up link they sent me doesn't work, and the app won't let me sign up. This app appears to be incapable of the most basic software capability. The app won’t work without sign up, and sign up doesn’t work, so I just deleted it

Forces you to validate yourself with a code sent to your email address. Does not send. Yes I checked junk folder. Yes I validated email address. Multiple times! Inconsistently sometimes gives me error message but usually just thinks it has sent note to email address. Tried recreating account but the app says the email account doesn’t work.

This app used to be awesome.  Until I recently had to try to reset my password.  Reset functionality doesn’t work.  Website broken on multiple pages.  Can’t create new account because of errors you get when clicking the link in the confirmation email.  The support page on the website literally doesn’t accept entry of characters into its Message field.  The website copyright is 2012.  I had used this app as recently as a few weeks ago, but apparently only because I was grandfathered in with a successfully created account, a thing it is no longer possible to obtain.  Very disappointed.

I used the app with great success for months. Then out of nowhere I get the “please verify Internet connection” I have sent multiple emails and receive no responses. My password and account is still able to get a new password sent to me so I know that is not it. I’ve tried multiple devices with the same issues. I really need the data that is on my account but I can’t seem to access it in anyway. I would stay away from unless a fix for this is given.

I downloaded this app to make a project for a class. I created an account and verified my email, but I am now unable to log in to the app, rendering app functions useless. I keep receiving an error message saying to verify my internet connection, which I can confirm is solid, so there must be some major problem with the app. I tried these same steps with another email but no luck. Go ahead and skip this app, don’t waste your time.

All was going well with set up until the confirmation email appeared which had an error line in it. From that moment I could not login without an error suggesting I had no Internet connection, ... but I did!

I hope this review will help the developer to address this problem. I will try another app instead for today.

Cette app semble obsolète. Le look est vieillissant et ne semble pas avoir été mis à jour depuis longtemps. De plus, le lien envoyé par email pour confirmer la création du compte ne fonctionne pas. C’est dommage

I got an email to active account.  After clicking the email link I got error messages.  I tried copying and pasting link- again problems. I tried activating several times over many days.  I tried third website help and the online form didn’t allow me to type in the message dialog box.  This app is riddled with bugs before I even get activated.  Pathetic!

I have used the app for over a year now. Absolutely fabulous app. Able to record trip even when no internet connection with photos videos geotagged is brilliant. I can come back to hotel from trip to see the route on google map and save it.

As a person who travels the world extensively I find this app to be the most amazing one in my collection!! Not only does it work everywhere I go, but it shows me exactly where I am, so getting lost is no longer of any concern... Absolutely fantastic, and many thanks to the developers!

I'm having so much fun tracking my bike rides around the Bay Area!  I used to guesstimate my mileage, but now I get accurate data immediately.  I love how easy it is to use.  I hit start, and it takes care of everything until I hit stop at the end of my ride.  It's fun to be able to take pictures along the way and enter details I find interesting in the moment.  It's fun to review my cycling adventure later on my Mac where I have a larger screen, although it works just as well on my iphone screen.  Everything syncs perfectly and quickly between devices.  I agree with another reviewer that it would be GREAT in a future update to be able to pause the app, such as while stopping for coffee or a meal.  Might be helpful to stop using data while taking a break, without losing track of other data, and then be able to resume when ready.  When I'm going to be gone from home for half a day, I bring something to recharge the battery.  But my battery drains quickly no matter what apps I'm using.  Sigh.  There was a minor snafu when I upgraded to iOS10.  I sent them an email and got a personal reply within an hour.  The problem was fixed with an update within a few days.  I was highly impressed with the customer service!  Last weekend I hiked in Redwood Park in the Oakland Hills where my phone often loses a signal.  Livetrekker tracked my hike perfectly.  Again, I was impressed.  I recommend this app!

Great app, best gps tracker (without fail) I've used. Really fantastic multi-media 'diary' of hikes that can be easily shared.

*** REALLY would benefit from a companion WATCH app, so the iPhone can stay in my pocket (when adding commentary) & for shooting pics / video (with me in it), triggered from watch controls.
