LiveWaves is an easy-to-use, all-in-one social network that gives content creators and all users the ability to create their own live streams, posts, pictures, videos, sound recordings as well as in-person ticketed events. LiveWaves also gives users the ability to set up subscriptions to specific, or all parts of their content. All of this WITHOUT the overwhelming advertisements, collecting and selling your data, or shadow-banning algorithms like other social networks. Creatives and fans of all types are welcome here! Our ticketing feature also allows users to sell tickets to in-person events such as recitals, parties, conferences, and conventions. LiveWaves allows users to post up to 3 hours of video in one post. And, users who post original, self-owned content. This also includes pictures, gifs, and very soon, NFTs. Authors, Musicians, Poets, Rappers, Artists, Podcasters, and Bands can upload their sound recordings into LiveWaves. Creatives can upload sound recordings that they own. Unfortunately I was unable to get to the event, but I was able to use the live waves app host a party remotely. I’ve watched a lot of live stream performances this year (2020, yay) and have had to go PayPal or Venmo my tip. How great to have an app that lets you basically buy a ticket for a live show ahead of time. Hope all the musicians I like catch on to LiveWaves. But it’s obviously not just for music - I can see it being used for classes, lectures, fundraisers, etc too. Easy to navigate, no ads, super flexible. What’s not to love?!
