Was one of the collectibles was a paw 🐾 print placed awkwardly so that if you didn't tap it exactly, you tapped into the next scene.🙃 well worth the price.. Love this series.. Nothing out of the ordinary in terms of hidden objects scenes: no morphing items, no silhouettes, but some interactivity. Liked playing as a bear, but even that novelty wore thin after a bit because a bear can do but so much to solve complex puzzles, lol. Zen music was grand. My real complaint was that the ending was too abrupt. Solve last puzzle, cutscene then boom! So for now 1* for effort! ### 1/5 — Wrath of the beast *2015-12-19, version 1.0.6* How disappointing.....I am stuck in the Bears bedroom, playing with the tiles under the window. I have no idea what to next, or to solve this puzzle. Games other thanHOP are NOT explained, you must guess what to do and when you go to the guide for help.....well the illustrations will not enlarge, so I can't see what the narrative is talking about. Game was not intuitive and rational. Some mini games were so difficult there was no way to solve unless spent a days on it or had the answer sequence already. The hidden object scenes were not enough to qualify as a true HIDDEN object game. This is mostly just an adventure game. Waste of my money will think twice before purchasing this game co. Latest offerings :( ### 1/5 — Disappointed *2015-09-02* Enjoyed game, so therefore purchased the full game only £2.49! Why do games crash after they unlock and they have your money! Game froze 4 times and I reinstalled it four times - losing all my data. Contacted BF and after all their suggestions (including reinstalling the factory settings for my IPad) nothing worked. I am now going to ask for a refund. ### 1/5 — Awful *2015-08-15, version 1.0.2* Two things-one it is a puzzle game, not hidden object. I have found a number of BF games that claim to be hidden objects that have one HO for every 10-12 puzzles. Second, most of the time you have to hit hint or punch all over the screen to find what to do next. Truly a frustrating experience all around. ### 2/5 — Poorly written directions *2015-08-19, version 1.0.2* "Extinguish all the butterflies." This is the goal of the last three puzzles. I extinguished all of them and the game reset. It kept doing that. I finally figured out that it wanted you to extinguish all the butterflies AND land on the flower. Be clear in you instructions, people. Another disappointment. When is BF going back to the terrific games of the past? I'm beyond disappointment. I'm hungry for a good game! ### 2/5 — Ridiculous *2015-08-15, version 1.0.2* Okay the story lines of Big Fish's fantasy series seem to get more and more ridiculous, and this version of goldilocks and bears has to be an all time storyline low. I'm a man, I'm a bear, my mom is goldilocks, my dads a bear hunter, I'm chasing after someone named Morgana, I need spells to be human, I don't know why my mom is haunting me. Look, I've played all of them - fairies to elves to ballerinas - and on this one I just keep rolling my eyes. It's preposterous and worse, makes game play totally illogical. Rather than the story unfolding with clues and puzzles, solving mystery, I'm just hitting the hint button utterly confused about tasks and totally irritated by anonsensical story line. Well made, a little hokey on the visuals, and HOs are smooth, but unless you're drunk, skip it. ### 3/5 — Problems collecting items *2023-07-12* I finally finished this game after paying the full price. Wish I had not. All throughout the game it would fail to give me an item after completing action. I would have to completely close out game and go back in on my ipad and the item would finally appear. Too irritating and time consuming. Have never purchased a game this much trouble to play. I'm a huge fan of how they manage the inventory, notes, maps, to do list etc.. It's simple, quick and has such ease of access. Do your self a favour and buy the bundle because it is a trilogy. U must play in order for the best experience. Living Legends: 1) Ice Rose 2) Frozen Beauty 3) Wrath of Beasts Tip: Make sure u collect All THE RUNES in Wrath of Beasts as they will reveal the stories connections and purpose from Ice Rose through to Wrath of Beasts.
