That makes no sense because the whole point of getting the camera is to be able to view when not home. I think this bug needs to be fixed so it works when out of home network ### 1/5 — Not functional ios16 *2022-10-11, version 5.17* Title says it all its not working properly with iOS 16. Everything on the records is only using half the screen. Needs an update. ### 1/5 — Stopped working *2021-05-26, version 5.17* App randomly decided it will only connect when I’m on local WiFi. Device still works with sd card. Sometimes videos don’t play and when they do it is choppy but you can see and hear well enough. You also don’t have to pay extra money for memory a month so it’s really not that bad. You pay for what you get and the app can be better and crash less but you can work around it. I could view live view every time and there was absolutely no lag. And that was when we lived in the country where the only internet option was satellite. I moved to town, got cable internet, updated my iPhone and now the app no longer works. When I try and reset the clock camera, then every time I try to scan the QR code, the app closes! Someone needs to do some major app updating and create a bunch more fixes because I’m to the point of throwing away my camera and getting one from somewhere else. This is ridiculous. I don’t want something I can’t use. If I had made this review last year, I would have given 5 stars. Please please fix all the bugs that Apple has created with all their new updates! ### 2/5 — Needs updated *2020-10-22, version 5.12* Since latest iOS update app crashes when exporting videos also won’t play videos within the app... ### 2/5 — Used to work *2020-10-07, version 5.12* I’d give this 1 star because it doesn’t work anymore, but for a couple of years it did work.
