## What is LLM Convergence?

One AI model can be confidently wrong. LLM Convergence asks several at once and makes them reconcile.

Pose a question and LLM Convergence sends it, in parallel, to a panel of leading AI models. A model you pick acts as the leader: it breaks every answer down into individual claims and reconciles them over a few rounds. What comes back is a single answer the panel converged on - plus a convergence score, and the specific points they disagreed on surfaced instead of buried.

HOW IT WORKS
- Ask in parallel - your prompt goes to several models at once, across OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and fast open-model hosts.
- Reconcile - a leader model decomposes each answer into claims and reconciles them round by round, so agreement is earned, not assumed.
- See convergence - read one reconciled answer with a convergence score, and inspect the claims that didn't line up.

TWO CONSENSUS MODES
- Single judge - a leader model judges and reconciles each round.
- Claim-commit voting - claims commit by panel quorum and stay committed (inspired by RAFT).

GROUND ANSWERS IN THE WEB (OPTIONAL)
Turn on grounding and LLM Convergence runs a web search before the panel answers, then puts the cited results in front of every model - so they reason over real sources instead of memory alone. Grounded answers come back with tappable [S1]-style citations and a Sources list, a grounding score next to the convergence score, and an honest "couldn't ground this" when a search turns up nothing. It uses a frontier key you already have (Claude, Gemini, or an OpenRouter model) - no separate search key, and it works on every platform.

FACT-CHECK MODE
Ask LLM Convergence to fact check something and it switches from answering to verifying. Paste a link and it opens the page - or check pasted text, a bare claim, or the answer it just gave you. It pulls out the checkable claims, runs a separate web search for each one, has the whole panel weigh the evidence, and returns a verdict per claim - supported, refuted, partly supported, or unverifiable - with citations you can tap. It reads how you phrased the question, so there is no mode to switch on. Fact-check mode needs a model that can search the web.

BRING YOUR OWN KEYS
Use your own provider API keys. They're stored securely in your device's keychain and used only to call the providers you choose - never sent to us. One key per provider: add more models from a vendor you've already set up without re-pasting its key, or override the key for a specific model. Mix and match models, run more than one model from the same vendor, and pin whichever one leads.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
LLM Convergence is a pure client - there's no account and no server of ours.
- No analytics, no telemetry, no ad SDKs.
- Prompts go straight from your device to the providers you configured.
- Chat history is saved locally and stays on your device. Delete any conversation anytime.

YOU'RE IN CONTROL
Choose which models sit on the panel, which one leads, how many rounds run, and the convergence threshold. Multi-turn chat with local history and Markdown-rendered answers. Run more than one conversation at a time - a chat keeps working in the background while you read another.

Supported providers: OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini), and OpenAI-compatible hosts including Groq, Fireworks, Cerebras, and OpenRouter - the last reaching many models behind a single key - with free open models available.

Note: LLM Convergence requires your own API keys from the providers you want to use. Provider usage is billed by those providers per their own pricing.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.6 — 2026-10-17

AIQuorum is now LLM Convergence - same app, same features, new name. Your keys, chats and Pro unlock carry over automatically.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-08-28

Housekeeping, forced by changes at the model providers.

- Updated free models. Groq retired Llama 3.3 70B and Llama 3.1 8B on August 16, and Cerebras retired GLM 4.7 on August 17. AIQuorum now offers Groq's own replacements, GPT-OSS 120B and GPT-OSS 20B, alongside Cerebras GPT-OSS 120B.
- Retired models now say so. If you configured Groq or Cerebras earlier, a model its provider has since retired is flagged in Settings with what happened and what to switch to, instead of just failing mid-answer. Nothing is changed behind your back - swap it when you like, and your key is reused, so there is nothing to paste again.
- Fewer OpenRouter free models. OpenRouter withdrew GPT-OSS 20B (free), and we dropped Gemma 4 31B: it runs through a single host that is out of quota almost constantly, so it failed far more often than it answered. Nemotron 3 Super 120B is the free model that remains.
- A better starter panel. First-run setup now picks a genuinely different model for each provider. As the free tier shrank it had become possible to end up with the same model twice, which quietly makes the agreement score meaningless - a panel only tells you something when its members can actually disagree.

As always, AIQuorum stays a pure client - your keys and chats never leave your device.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-08-07

What's new in 1.0.4

- Fact-check mode. Ask AIQuorum to fact check something and it switches from answering to verifying. Paste a link and it actually opens the page - or check pasted text, a bare claim, or the answer it just gave you.
- Every claim checked on its own. It pulls out the checkable claims, runs a separate web search for each one, has the whole panel weigh the evidence, and comes back with a verdict per claim: supported, refuted, partly supported, or unverifiable - each with citations you can tap.
- It reads how you asked. Fact-check mode turns itself on from the way you phrase the question, so there is no mode to remember. Ask an ordinary question and you get an ordinary answer.
- Honest about what it found. Fact-check results report how much of the panel agreed rather than a convergence score, because those assessors all read the same evidence. When a claim cannot be verified, it says so instead of guessing.
- Run several chats at once. Sending a prompt and switching to another conversation used to throw the run away. Now each chat keeps its own run going in the background, and the chat list shows which ones are still working.
- Drafts stay put. A half-typed prompt now stays with its conversation instead of following you to the next one.

Fact-check mode needs a model that can search the web (Claude, Gemini, or an OpenRouter frontier model). As always, AIQuorum stays a pure client - your keys and chats never leave your device.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-07-14

What's new in 1.0.3

- Ground answers in a live web search (optional). Turn it on and AIQuorum searches the web before the panel answers, then puts the cited results in front of every model - so they reason over real sources, not memory alone.
- Tap a citation to see where it came from. Grounded answers carry [S1]-style citations you can tap - it jumps to the source and highlights it - plus a Sources list that links out to each page.
- Know how well-grounded an answer is. A grounding score sits next to the convergence score, and the panel says "couldn't ground this" instead of guessing when a search comes up empty.
- No new key needed. Grounding uses a key you already have (Claude, Gemini, or OpenRouter). The toggle stays off - and explains itself - until you've added a model that can search the web.

As always, AIQuorum stays a pure client - your keys and chats never leave your device.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-07-02

What's new in 1.0.2

- OpenRouter support - add a single OpenRouter key to reach many models from one provider, including free open models.
- One key per provider: add more models from a provider you've already set up without re-pasting its key (override it for a specific model if you need to).
- Retry a run that failed with one tap, right where it stopped.
- Press Up/Down in the prompt box to bring back your previous prompts (desktop).
- Select and copy any part of an answer - or your own prompt - instead of copying the whole thing.
- Clearer messages when a model is rate-limited or temporarily unavailable, so you can tell an account-quota problem from a provider outage.

As always, AIQuorum stays a pure client - your keys and chats never leave your device.
