## What is LM?

Learn the names, abbreviations, structures, major properties, biosynthetic pathways, and codons of the 22 amino acids found in proteins.

This app includes multiple formats to help you test and learn information about amino acids, including:
• Flash Cards: scroll through deck of cards, flip to see front and back information
• Sorting Cards: swipe cards to their correct identity, or property class 
• Matching Games for abbreviations and major properties
• a drawing module to learn structures
• Codon Reader: decipher the genetic code and build proteins
• an amino acid reference guide
• a basic chemistry guide that allows you to visualize amino acid interactions, and explore relevant background for understanding amino acid properties (e.g., the perioidic table of elements, electron configurations, hydrogen bonds, and more...)- don't just memorize...understand

This app is highly customizable, including:
• reclassify properties: allows you to respecify amino acid properties for basic or advanced study, or to meet the specific requirements of your individual courses and study needs. Comes fully loaded with defaults, but gives flexibility to meet your specific needs
