Such as love, stop it, family etc. really helpful if school for mi’kmaw projects tho!! ### 4/5 — Content of App. *2025-06-17, version 3.0.5* Although this app is very useful for learning the words and hearing them spoken , it does not teach the reader how to join these words together to make sentences or conversations. It would be so helpful for the learners to hear sentences and phrases within the app. Other than that it is awesome for true beginners. A learner needs to recognize the verbs audibly , that join the verbs with the nouns pronouns and adjectives that form sentences. It provides all of the basics and a significant vocabulary of terms. There are only two things that I think could enhance it: at some point, it would be great to add contextual terms such as the Mi'kmaq words for different territory; and to add advanced functionality by setting up a learning system like the Babble app does for other languages. That would make it perfect, although I also realize the desire to keep this app free and the immense development costs associated with what's been done to date. With the amount of resources we have to the language such as elders,parents, grandparents, and even the people who made this app there should be WAY more to the vocabulary more so even the people who speak mikmaw daily could learn too if we had access to more advanced words and conversational mikmaw ya know idk just my opinion. it would be nice and if they put more effort into it and constantly updated it. Of course it is difficult to have an app that has all the phrases (there is the mikmaq help dictionary you can find on google/safari with plenty of other more advanced phrases) but for what it’s worth, I use this app on the daily and it definitely helps me out as a native person trying to learn more of my language.
