## What is Loadcast?

Most training apps give you a rigid plan and pretend every day is the same. Tired, sick, or coming off a brutal week? The plan does not care. Loadcast works in two layers instead.

First, a full-season plan: base, build, peak, taper, race. That is your roadmap to the goal. Then a daily engine sits on top, reads your recent sessions, your weekly load and your recovery, and decides exactly one session every morning: what makes sense today, how hard, and why. The plan sets the direction. The engine gets you there, adjusted to how you actually are.

WHY LOADCAST IS DIFFERENT
- Two layers, not one: a season plan for the months ahead, a daily decision for right now.
- Adaptive, not rigid: the recommendation shifts with your real state, not a calendar that has never met you.
- Multi-sport in one system: strength, running, cycling and swimming are planned together, including how they interfere with each other.
- It explains itself: you see the session, the reasoning, and what the engine rejected. No black-box gut feeling.
- Fuel is part of the load: what you eat is measured against what you actually burned that day, so nutrition follows the training decision instead of running beside it.
- One place for the inputs: load, recovery, strength and progress sit side by side, so you can see what the engine is reading.
- It closes the loop: every week and every month you get a written read of what actually happened, what carried, and what to hold on to. The engine decides, then it shows its work.

WHO IT IS FOR
For anyone who takes more than one sport seriously and wants structure without hiring an expensive coach. Whether you are training for a Hyrox, a triathlon, your first marathon, or simply solid year-round form.

HOW IT WORKS
1. A short onboarding about your goals, experience and week.
2. Every morning, one concrete recommendation grounded in your real history and your season phase.
3. You report back how it felt. The engine learns and sharpens the next call.
4. Every Sunday and on the first of the month, Loadcast sums up what happened, what carried, and what to focus on next.

Your sessions arrive on their own from your watch, so your training is built from what you actually did instead of what you typed in.

The AI coach answers your training questions in the context of your real numbers. Optionally over WhatsApp too.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.4 — 2026-08-07

The biggest addition since the rebrand: Loadcast no longer just decides your day. At the end of the week and the month, it shows its work.

THE LOOK BACK
- Weekly report: what you actually did, what carried, and what to focus on until next Sunday. With trend charts instead of a list of numbers.
- Milestone moments: personal bests get recognised and named instead of disappearing into your history.
- Monthly report: the month as one story. Training time against the month before, the weeks side by side, and a verdict on what carried it.
- Week and month can both be shared as a card.

TRAINING
- Weekly budget: the engine plans against a real hour budget instead of an ideal. Running races included.
- Session durations follow your distance, season phase and history instead of fixed defaults.
- Phase changes are announced and explained instead of happening quietly.

NUTRITION
- Nutrition is its own page and lives in the coach: what you eat, measured against what you actually burned that day.

SYNC
- New sessions from your watch wake the app in the background and report in as soon as they are in your log.

Plus many smaller fixes to briefing, notifications and layout.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-07-29

Hybrid Training Coach is now Loadcast. Same app, same engine, new name and icon.

Loadcast tells you what to train and why, every day, adapted to your real load and your season plan.

Plus improvements under the hood. Thanks for being here.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-07-14

What's new

- Your plan now progresses with you. As you improve, sessions and paces sharpen automatically toward your race, instead of stalling at a fixed level.
- Smarter recovery. Open the app and it adapts today's session to your real recovery, tells you exactly what it changed, and lets you override.
- New check-in states, including "feeling unwell", so a cold or a rough day reshapes your training instead of derailing it.
- Bring in your other training. External sports and commitments now count toward your week, so nothing clashes.
- Smarter weekly scheduling. No more heavy legs next to hard runs, and long runs placed right for your race.
- Your AI coach now understands your progression, plus fixes to the WhatsApp coach.

Plus performance improvements and bug fixes.
