## What is load·in?

Your rider in. Your desk's own show file out. Your multitrack through the desk's processing before you get there.

load·in is built by a touring FOH and monitor engineer for the work before soundcheck. Type a list, paste a rider, snap a photo of one, or open your console's own file — and get a labelled input list with mic/DI and stereo links, a stage plot, PDF documents, DAW templates and a native file your desk loads.

Five tabs, one show — Show, List, Strip, Stage, and File. Add a drum kit and it is in the list, the strip, and on the plot together.

SOUNDCHECK
Open a multitrack (WAV stems or a zip) and hear it through the desk file's own gates, compressors, EQ and sends, with solo, mute, faders, meters and a spectrum, on the phone. One free soundcheck for everyone; included with your first desk.

CONSOLE WORKFLOWS
Prepare files for supported workflows across Behringer X32, WING and X-Air; Midas M32 and HD96; Yamaha CL/QL, DM3, DM5, DM7, TF and RIVAGE PM; DiGiCo SD and Quantum; Allen & Heath SQ and dLive; Avid VENUE S6L; Soundcraft Si Expression and Vi; PreSonus StudioLive.

New desks arrive in regular updates: the Yamaha TF in 1.5.9, the DM5 and DM5 Compact, and the Midas HD96, Soundcraft Si Expression and Soundcraft Vi1000 in this version.

Every export preview shows what the selected workflow writes and leaves out. Console files never receive a watermark or marketing data.

Preamp gain always stays exactly as set at the desk — load·in never touches it. Phantom power (48V) is written only when you switch it on or off yourself, on desks where that's proven; translating between desks never moves it on its own.

Imported console files can vary by desk model, editor version, firmware and source file; an import may not preserve every setting across desks or formats. Always verify an exported file in the official editor or on the target desk before show use.

THE STRIP
Open a channel's Filter, EQ, Gate and Comp workspace from its processing badges, with modelled curves and instrument presets. The export preview is the source of truth for which Strip data a workflow includes.

DAW TEMPLATES
Create pre-labelled templates for Reaper, Ableton Live, Adobe Audition, Cubase/Nuendo and Ardour/Mixbus from the same input list.

PROJECTS AND DOCUMENTS
• Save and reopen portable .show project files
• Password-protect a .show file with sensitive rider or personal information
• Export PDF, PNG and CSV documents
• Plot editing, documents and .show projects work offline; account, purchase, sharing, DAW export and console-file import/export require a connection
• 26 languages: English, Dutch, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Swedish, Polish, Turkish, Norwegian, Danish, Czech, Ukrainian, Thai, Indonesian, Finnish, Hungarian, Romanian, Greek, Vietnamese, Malay and Hindi

FREE, AND YOUR DESK
The app is free. No sign-in is required. Free includes up to three saved plots, CSV, watermarked PDF/PNG, local .show projects, one native export to any desk and one soundcheck.

After that, unlock your first desk: $19.99 one-time for one desk family of your choice (15 families, from X32/M32 to Soundcraft Vi), with Soundcheck and Pro: unlimited plots, clean PDFs and DAW templates. Add more desks any time, $6.99 each. Every purchase is one-time, not a subscription, and it is yours to keep.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.6.0 — 2026-10-22

load·in is free, with one free export to any desk. Then your first desk is $19.99 one-time: that desk family, Soundcheck and Pro, yours to keep, no subscription. Each further desk is $6.99.

• Soundcheck: open your multitrack and hear it through the desk file's own gates, compressors, EQ and sends, on the phone, before you reach the venue. One free soundcheck for everyone; included with your first desk.
• New desks: Midas HD96, Soundcraft Si Expression and Soundcraft Vi1000 native show files, checked in each maker's own offline editor. DiGiCo files now carry channel names exactly as typed.
• 26 languages: new in this version are Finnish, Hungarian, Romanian, Greek, Vietnamese, Malay and Hindi, joining English, Dutch, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Swedish, Polish, Turkish, Norwegian, Danish, Czech, Ukrainian, Thai and Indonesian.
• A cleaner app: the header is your show's name and desk, a lighter light theme, desk-name tiles and new tab icons; the Strip and List follow your language everywhere.
• Pick your desk family at first purchase and add more any time, $6.99 each: X32/M32/X-Air, WING, Yamaha CL/QL, DM, TF, RIVAGE PM, Allen & Heath dLive and SQ, DiGiCo SD and Quantum, Avid VENUE S6L, Midas HD96, Soundcraft Si and Soundcraft Vi.
• If your desk won't load the file, we refund you.
• Already bought load·in Pro? It keeps every desk — nothing to do. Restore Purchases brings it back on a new device.
• Dozens of fixes from this week's audit: a purchase prompt that always offers a way through, the free export offered where it should be, solo that survives a save in Soundcheck, and many more.

### 1.5.9 — 2026-10-05

This release is about the show being one record, not a plot with a console step bolted on.

• Five tabs — Show, List, Strip, Stage, File — stay in step: add anything anywhere and it appears on all five within the same render.
• Type a rider, scan one, or import a desk file: load·in builds the element census, the input list, and the plot from the same record.
• The Show tab draws your desk as it exists on the day — real bank widths, the strip layout in your theme's palette.
• Just added: Yamaha TF (TF1, TF3, TF5, TF-Rack). Bring the desk's own file in and send one back out, checked against TF Editor saves.
• RF stays a reference field only — load·in never claims a frequency is coordinated, and no exported desk file carries one.

load·in Pro is $59 one-time, no subscription.

### 1.5.8 — 2026-09-29

The Show tab
- Show is a new first tab. Type your show into the notepad, for example "kick, snare, hat", "stereo keys" or "perc", and tap Confirm. Each name becomes one channel, and a count such as "8 drums" builds a kit. A dot at the end of each line shows the colour those channels will get; tap it to pick another before you confirm.
- Your channels are drawn on a rough picture of your desk's faders. For a show opened from a file, each fader cap sits at the level the file saved. On iPad the faders grow to use the room above the notepad. Hide the faders if you want more room.
- DiGiCo SD and Quantum: when you open a session, the Show tab draws the fader banks as read from the file. This is a view only; load·in does not change your banks. Check the layout at the desk.
- Open a file and Read a rider sit on the notepad.
- The Plot tab is now called Stage.

History
- A History panel under the notes lists what changed, newest first, with Undo and Redo. Changing desks is one undo step, and History lists, channel by channel, what the new desk cannot hold.
- Pop-up messages are gone. Notes go to History, and the History button shows a count when something new arrives. After an export, open History to read anything that did not carry into the file.

List
- Where the file names it, each row shows the input socket behind the channel: X32/M32, X-Air, WING, DM3 and dLive.

Importing
- SQ: every channel in the show imports, named or not. Channels you left unnamed stay unnamed in the exported file.
- dLive: preamp gain, pad and 48V are read through the show's input patch, so a channel patched to another socket shows that socket's settings. If you reorder channels on a show that is not patched one to one, the preamp settings stay on their own sockets, and History names the channels to check at the desk.
- dLive: load·in does not write 48V into a show you opened from a dLive file. The Show tab marks 48V there as yours to set at the desk. Always confirm 48V at the desk before connecting mics.
- WING, DM7, DM3 and RIVAGE: output EQ and compressor settings from the file now show on the outputs.

Exporting
- Waves LV1 export is not available in this version. The app says so before any purchase screen.

Also
- A cloud sync no longer overwrites edits made on this device.
- Set a default colour per instrument under Colours in settings. It applies only to channels you add, never to colours that came from a file.
- Help and the walkthrough are rewritten for the new layout.

### 1.5.7 — 2026-09-11

Your outputs now show the EQ and compressor your show file already carries.

This release:
• Import a show and the outputs list shows which buses have EQ or a compressor engaged — read from the file itself, on X32/M32, dLive, DiGiCo and SQ. It stays quiet where the desk says nothing.
• The MIX column reads your desk's own bus number instead of counting rows, so a bus that is 13 on the console reads 13 here.
• The Outputs search box says outputs, and a rider photographed from a spreadsheet no longer brings the sheet's own title and column headings in as channels.

Free includes X32/M32 native scene export. Pro is a one-time $99 unlock — no subscription.

### 1.5.6 — 2026-09-08

Deleted channels can be cleared again, and a lectern shows the mic patched into it.

This release:
• A channel deleted with its slot kept can now be selected and removed like any other row, so a list of held slots can be cleared instead of stranding the plot.
• A lectern or podium carrying a mic shows that input in its properties, not just a channel number.
• Everything in 1.5.5: every import door reads channel names the same way, desk default names stay off the stage, DiGiCo Quantum 225 export in beta.

Free includes X32/M32 native scene export. Pro is a one-time $99 unlock — no subscription.
