## What is Loadpath?

Build strength, track every workout, and never guess your next lift.

Loadpath is a workout tracker built for strength training, bodybuilding, powerlifting and progressive overload. Log workouts in seconds, automatically increase your weights as you improve, and see exactly why every recommendation changes.

WORKOUT TRACKING MADE FAST

• Log strength, cardio and timed exercises with fast inline workout logging.
• Automatic Personal Record (PR) detection for weight and reps.
• Track estimated one-rep max (1RM) for every exercise.
• Plateau detection helps you recognise when progress slows.

SMART PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD

• Create reusable workouts and organise them into multi-week training programmes.
• Automatic linear and double progression increase your weights as you hit your targets.
• Built-in deloads help manage fatigue and recovery.
• Every weight recommendation includes a clear history showing exactly why it changed.
• Skip individual sets without them counting against your PRs or progression.

START FROM A PROVEN PROGRAMME

Seven complete training programmes are built in, ready to run on day one:

• Push / Pull / Legs
• Upper / Lower
• Full Body 3×
• 5×5
• GZCLP
• 5/3/1
• 5/3/1 Boring But Big

Each one arrives fully built out — every week, every day, every set and rep range — with progression and deloads already wired up. Start one and just train.

CREATE YOUR PERFECT TRAINING PLAN

• Build custom workouts in minutes.
• Choose from 303 exercises, each with setup and technique cues.
• Create supersets and circuits.
• Support for bodyweight, weighted and assisted exercises.
• Train in kilograms or pounds with per-exercise unit preferences.

TRACK YOUR PROGRESS

• Monitor training volume and estimated 1RM over time.
• Break your progress down by exercise, category or workout type.
• See today's workout and what's coming next in your programme.
• A Home Screen widget, a Control Centre button and Live Activities keep your workout close while you train.
• Ask Siri what to lift next, start today's workout or log a rest day.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

• Secure iCloud sync across your Apple devices.
• Your workouts live in your own private iCloud — we can't see them.
• Your workout data is never sold or shared.

Whether you're a beginner starting your first strength programme or an experienced lifter chasing new PRs, Loadpath helps you train consistently, progress with confidence, and get stronger every workout.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.9 — 2026-09-21

Exercises land ready to train. Add an exercise to a workout and it arrives with a prescription instead of an empty row: a barbell squat, deadlift, bench, press or row is set up for strength — 4 sets of 5, with weight added whenever you hit your reps — and everything else for muscle growth, 3 sets of 8–12.

One decision, not seven fields. The exercise editor now opens with what a lift is for — Strength, Hypertrophy, Endurance or Custom — and sets, reps, rest and progression follow from it. Change a number yourself and the exercise says so, rather than quietly dropping the label.

A deload week isn't graded. Your week card no longer marks you down for following a deload, or congratulates you on the rebound after it. It names the week instead, and your totals still count every set you lifted.

Also in this update: programmes you start from a starter say what each lift is for, the workout builder shows a rep range as a range, an exercise's goal survives backups and copies, and a restored backup can no longer leave the exercise editor unable to save.

### 1.8 — 2026-09-19

The set panel opens halfway. Tap the card at the bottom of a workout and you get just the set you're on, with the rest of your session still in view. Drag it up for everything, or down to put it away.

More room while you train. Scroll down and the tab bar shrinks out of the way, with your running workout tucked in beside it, so the end of a list is never hidden behind it.

A check-in you can trust. When a cycle or a programme ends, Loadpath shows only weights you actually lifted, measured across the whole run. Deload weeks no longer look like going backwards, and 5/3/1's planned climb isn't mistaken for progress.

Also in this update: the finish screen tells you about planned sets you didn't log while you can still go back for them, barbell warm-ups land on weights you can load with real plates, skipping a set no longer raises your weight as if you'd done it, gold is kept for personal records, and VoiceOver reaches every button.

### 1.7 — 2026-09-15

Every colour now means one thing. Red marks the action you're meant to take, a workout that's running and the tab you're on, and nothing else. Numbers Loadpath worked out from your log are blue, personal bests are gold, rest is green, so a screen makes sense before you've read a label.

Charts only appear when they have something to say. Progress opens on Volume, drawn as a trend line with the sessions behind it, and every exercise's history uses the same blue on the same gridlines.

A running workout is calmer. The controls that were scattered across the top now live in one menu, there's a single Finish Workout, and the bar at the bottom holds steady as you log each set.

Also in this update: the rep range you set on an exercise shows while you lift, shared workouts count your cardio, your weight unit is the same on every screen, and the app icon has a cleaner dark tile.

### 1.6 — 2026-09-03

Ask Siri what to lift — and why.

"What should I squat today in Loadpath" now answers out loud, with the weight and the reasoning behind it — no need to open the app or even take your phone out. It's the same number your program already decided, so Siri and the app never disagree.

Start today's workout or log a rest day by voice, from the Lock Screen, or with a new Control Centre button that names the day before you tap it. Your exercises and saved workouts now show up in Spotlight search too.

Finishing a training block is a moment now — complete a program cycle and Loadpath greets you with a summary of what moved and by how much.

A new Siri & Shortcuts page in Settings lists every phrase Loadpath understands, so you're never guessing at the words.

### 1.5 — 2026-08-26

Find any exercise, fast.

The exercise library has grown to 303 movements — the barbell, dumbbell, machine and cable variations that were missing — and every one now comes with two short cues: how to set up, and what to focus on while you lift. No more leaving the app mid-set to look up your form.

Search finally works the way you'd say it out loud. Type "incline press" and you get every incline press, in any word order. It speaks gym shorthand too — "db bench", "ohp", "rdl" — and tints the part of each result your words matched, so you can see at a glance why something turned up.

Filters are one tap away on every screen where you pick an exercise, including mid-workout swaps, which had none at all before. And when you swap, each suggestion tells you the trade it's making: "Same muscles, Dumbbell instead of Barbell."

Muscle groups mean what they say, too. Filter by Lats and you'll get every pulldown and pull-up, instead of one stray movement.
