However, there are still missing features that I need. Additionally, the UI feels too basic for my liking—it could be more intuitive, perhaps by incorporating more gesture-based controls for smoother navigation. Also, the app says, pay now to get 50 percent discount, which is NOT true. I did not get a penny! I just paid a significant amount for their 1-year professional subscription. The app clearly states that purchasing the plan early—before the trial ends—would come with a discount, yet I was still charged the full price. However, my biggest concern is that my subscription is still not showing in the app, and I am unable to access the professional locked features. It has been almost an hour, and I still can’t use what I paid for. I reached out to the developer via WhatsApp but have yet to receive a response. I will update my rating once this is resolved, but I need it fixed quickly, as I was relying on the app to record an upcoming transaction. ### 5/5 — Best of simplicity at its finest. *2024-06-10, version 4.5.28* All the book keeping on palm of my hand. Auto reminders and creation of contracts is amazing. Software calculates everything for you. And the interaction with the software and app designer via WhatsApp is best. Always willing to assist where you don’t understand. However they became greedy and features that use to be free are now paid. I can’t Top Up anymore without upgrading to paid version. Constantly changing policies to favor the company without informing users is unacceptable. Blocking accounts without prior notice or explanation is outrageous and demonstrates a complete lack of respect for customers. It’s clear the focus is on squeezing money out of users rather than providing a reliable and trustworthy service. Customer support is virtually non-existent, leaving users stranded and frustrated. Avoid this app at all costs—it’s a waste of time and effort! **Developer response:** Hi Sunil, I understand your frustration and regret that you feel this way about Freebird. As a long-term user, you know that we aim to be fair and transparent. Your account was on the Team Plan without renewal for 10 months, payments were not made. When we connected to resolve this, you were given two clear options: to continue with an upgraded plan or to export your data and move on. You chose to export your data. I’m sorry things didn’t work out as expected, but blocking unpaid accounts is necessary to maintain fairness for all paying users and our business. I’ve been using Freebird to lend out money, and it’s honestly a wonderful app. I bought the lifetime version, and it’s worth every cent! It helps me keep perfect track of who borrowed what, sends automatic WhatsApp notifications, and even creates small contracts — everything I need in one place. The developers are amazing too — they respond quickly and sort out any problems fast. I highly recommend this app to anyone who lends or borrows money.
