It allows you to accumulate prior calculations for comparison of interest rates, etc. or just when you get drawn off a investment thought the calculations are saved to a list. Most handy! And, the app support is timely. I asked how to clear some calcs on the list and the creator pointed out the obvious to dim me. Live and learn! It can figure any part of the loan values if you have the rest of the information. For example, if you know the length, payment amount and amount of the loan - it will tell you the interest rate. Even includes amortization table. A complete app. Love it. ### 5/5 — Great App *2009-10-03, version 0* So i have had this app on my phone for about 8 months now, I use it all the time to figure out the total cost of financing things, and then to see what we would make if we invested it. it just works, no bugs, and would recommend it for any one think of getting a loan especially on a car or a 30 year fixed mortgage. ### 5/5 — Very good interface and does the basic functions *2009-08-13, version 0* It's a simple loan calculator and does its job well. Interface is much much better than the ones that's not free ! I am willing to pay for it if it has the below features: - additional payment - save the previous calc result - email the result - calc more than 1 loan and do the comparison as well as saving it So far none of the mortgage/loan calculators has all the features mentioned above. I'm a mortgage broker and now I don't have to carry a separate calculator. All you have to do is just add taxes, insurance, and PMI, if you need to. Till date I am using this but have not find any more better apps who compete or better. Please update *2017-09-19, version 2.1.0* This app allows you to time-money interest calculations and solve automatically for whichever variable you skip. It's brilliant. I have used it for years even though there have been no updates since 2012. It doesn't even fit the new larger screens on the iPhones released since then. Despite this, and despite having occasionally searched the App Store for a more modern app, I have not seen a better app to serve this function. Unless the developer updates it, this app will die with the release of iOS 11. Being able to solve for any of the components of a loan or an investment is unique. This one is far and away the best. This allows you to specify any variable and calculate the effect of this on the final variable. I could not find any other app that offered this flexibility. For example, if you pay an extra $100 each month, by how much would you reduce the term of the mortgage? If the interest-rate lowers half percent, how much will that affect the monthly payment. Or alternately with the same payment how much will that reduce the term of the loan. All these things are calculable on this app. You don't need any other mortgage calculator aside from this one. ### 5/5 — Insanely handy and simple. *2014-09-25, version 2.1.0* I've used this app on both the loan and investment side, it's been very useful. I actually am working on refinancing my mortgage and was able to cut through a lot of bs from the rep as I corrected some of her numbers before I let her continue the pitch. You just enter all your variables except the one you want calculated and boom: you have your answer. It's nice to see the amortization table too.
