Local Roots directly connects you with local food producers. You see when a farmer or artisan will visit your neighborhood, you place an order for exactly what you want, you pay for it through the app, and the farmer or artisan will deliver right to your door.

Currently open in Atlanta (in Buckhead, Midtown, Morningside/Virginia Highland, and Brookhaven).  Expansion throughout Atlanta and nationally coming soon.

Was really thrilled about this concept but I downloaded the app and allowed permissions to view my location as well as tried to save it manually and was given errors both times. I was also given errors when I tried to save and create an account. Is this a current issue? Are there planned updates to fix these bugs?
