## What is LocalAI?

LocalAI helps you find open language models suited to your iPhone or iPad. See each model's size, parameters, quantization, source, license, and device-fit reasons before downloading.

After a model is ready, prompts and responses are processed on your device. Chat history is stored per model in the app's private storage; you can stop generation, resume the latest session, or clear only the current model's conversation.

No account, ads, analytics, or tracking. The app connects to the listed third-party model repository only when you choose to prepare a model. Model output can be inaccurate, so verify important information.
