LocalLens finds the words hidden in your media. Import a lecture, meeting, interview, voice memo, screen recording, or image to get a time-coded speech transcript and recognized on-screen text without uploading the source file.

**Summary and Ask AI require a device and language supported by Apple Intelligence. Core transcription, OCR, timeline, search, translation, and export remain available without them. If a selected Apple speech resource is not installed, iOS may download it from Apple without sending your media.
