## What is LocaNeco?

LocaNeco is a local AI app for chatting with AI models you add to your iPhone or iPad. Use it for drafting, summarizing, translating, brainstorming, organizing research, and generating images in one focused workspace.

Main Features

Local AI Chat
Download or import compatible models and chat with AI on your device. Responses stream in real time, and generation can be stopped at any moment.

Project Memory
Each conversation can keep its own goal, preferences, constraints, decisions, and notes. You can review, edit, or delete saved memory at any time.

Model Management
Manage text models and image generation models in one place. Check file size, license, and recommended devices before adding a model. You can also import model files from Files / iCloud Drive or add models from a custom URL.

Image Generation
Create images from prompts, then share them or save them to Photos.

Language and Display Settings
Adjust response language, light or dark appearance, default model, context length, and output settings.

Privacy
Chat logs, memory, and attachments are generally stored on your device. If you enable web search, only the search query is sent to an external service. Downloading models or adding models from custom URLs requires network access.

Important Notes
LocaNeco does not include real AI model files by default. You can try the app with demo modes first, then download or import compatible models for actual use. Please review each model provider’s license and terms before using downloaded or imported models.

LocaNeco 2.0 adds a new agent experience with web grounding, source references, selectable reasoning levels, and on-device calculation verification. It also improves read-aloud support, accessibility, localization, model management, output stability, and overall answer quality.
