## What is Location MSM?

Quickly share your location via SMS. Location information can be automatically obtained and located before sending, or users can manually input it, including GPS coordinates and street/house numbers. This information can be used for navigation to quickly reach your location. This feature is primarily used in social scenarios such as dating, picking up people, ordering food, chauffeured transportation, travel, and contacting family.

### 26.8.15 — 2026-08-15

Improved the SMS layout for voice messages with clearer attachment guidance and an “SMS content” label. Moved the Promo Code entry to Settings directly below Location MSM Pro. Added a clickable location-sms.com link to the usage instructions.

Added recent history for SMS content, recipient phone numbers, and manually entered addresses. Entries are deduplicated, sorted with the newest first, and limited to 10. Improved voice message attachment naming and playback guidance. Refined the main-screen layout and updated the SMS download link.

Added voice input for composing SMS messages in English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. You can also record up to 60 seconds of audio, preview, re-record, or delete it, and attach the voice message to the system SMS composer. Improved recording reliability and audio-session handling.

Improved the location SMS map-link prompt for clearer navigation. Users with long-term free access can now subscribe to annual Pro to remove Location MSM promotional text and the download link from SMS messages. The Pro subscription page now clearly explains this ad-free benefit, with improved subscription-status verification after purchase.

### 26.8.9 — 2026-08-09

Improved promotional-code activation: successful activation now shows a confirmation before opening Apple subscription management. Promo Code and Restore Purchases controls are hidden after long-term local access is activated. Active annual subscribers see a cancellation reminder, while users who have already disabled auto-renewal do not. Improved StoreKit renewal-status verification.
