## What is Location Reminders?

Location reminders that fire when you arrive or leave — and land on your Lock Screen the moment they matter.

Paloma turns a plain sentence into a reminder. Type "pick up flowers when I leave work" and she reads the place, the time and the trigger straight out of it. No forms, no menus, no date wheel.

WHAT PALOMA DOES

Geofence alerts, set to your radius. Get nudged the moment you leave home or arrive somewhere new, with a trigger radius you set yourself — from a tight 25 meters out to 500 — so a reminder fires where you meant it and not a street early.

Lock Screen widgets. Your next task on the glass as a circle, a rectangle or a single line. A Live Activity counts a timed reminder down in the Dynamic Island.

Home Screen widgets. Two sizes, and you can tick anything off without opening the app.

Just type it, like you'd say it. "Bins out every Tuesday." "Dentist on the 20th." "Text mum when I get home." Paloma reads the place, the date and the repeat out of the sentence as you write it.

Or say it. Tap the mic and speak the reminder instead. Recognition runs on your device, so the audio never leaves your phone.

It speaks Spanish. Type or talk in Spanish and the parser handles it natively — dates, places and repeats included. Not a translated menu; the sentence reader itself is bilingual.

Repeats you set once. "Every Tuesday", "every other Friday", "the first of the month". Change one later by tapping the repeat chip — no retyping.

A heads-up before the thing itself. "Remind me 30 minutes before" gives you the warning as well as the reminder, and it carries across a whole repeating series.

Your day, sorted in seconds. Everything lands in one calm, day-grouped feed. Nothing to file, nothing to drag anywhere.

Paloma noticed. Put the bins out three Tuesdays running and she offers to make it repeat, so you can stop typing it.

The Sunday sweep. Whatever has been sitting a while, dealt with in a couple of minutes once a week.

Your year. Every day you finished, on one screen, with your current streak and your best one.

On your Mac too. A real Mac app with its own window, sidebar and search — and Option-Space opens the capture bar from any app.

The rest of the phone. Spotlight finds your reminders, Shortcuts and Siri can add them, and a Control Center button gets you to a new one straight from the Lock Screen.

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
Reminders sync through your own iCloud account. Speech recognition happens on device. There is no Paloma server holding your day, because there is no Paloma account to make.

Built for people who think in sentences, not settings screens. Say where and when; Paloma handles the rest.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.6 — 2026-08-22

A maintenance release. Nothing about how Paloma works has changed since the last version.

### 1.5 — 2026-08-21

Paloma speaks Spanish.

Every screen — the feed, capture, settings, the whole first run — now follows your phone's language. The parser already read Spanish; the app around it finally does too. Set it to Spanish in iOS Settings and Paloma follows.

Also in this release
— The Live Activity opens an hour before a reminder instead of eight, so your Lock Screen stays yours until the thing is actually close.
— On the Mac, the quick capture bar closes when you click away from it, and the sheets that pick a date or a place open at a real height instead of coming up empty.

Removed
— "Out and about". Grouping place reminders into one trip sounded better than it worked, and the feed reads more clearly without it.

### 1.4 — 2026-08-18

A new look, and five things Paloma can now do on her own.

THE APP LOOKS NEW
Every surface has been redrawn. Buttons have thickness, chips have edges, and the sky sits behind the feed and changes with your appearance setting. Nothing moved that you didn't ask to move.

PALOMA NOTICED
Put the bins out three Tuesdays running and she'll ask whether to make it repeat, so you can stop typing it.

TODAY'S RUN
Your place reminders, ordered into one trip instead of three separate nudges.

YOUR YEAR
Every day you finished, on one screen, with your current run and your best one.

THE SUNDAY SWEEP
The things that have been sitting a while, dealt with in a couple of minutes once a week.

SNOOZE IN WORDS
Push something to "tonight" or "Saturday" without opening a date picker.

ON THE MAC
Paloma is a proper Mac window now, not a phone screen in a box — its own sidebar, its own rows, its own search. Option-Space still opens the capture bar from any app.

WIDGETS
A small widget that fits every task and lets you tick any of them, and bigger checkboxes on the medium one.

THE PARSER
"Dentist on the 20th" and "dentist on the 20th of next month" now resolve to the day you meant instead of saving undated.

Plus: a reminder is counted once in the widget and in today's row, a duplicate scanner, and a fix for the reminders that could appear twice after a reinstall.

### 1.3.2 — 2026-08-05

Voice capture. Tap the mic in the capture field and say the reminder instead of typing it. Recognition runs on your device, so the audio never leaves your phone, and it follows your capture language — Spanish stays Spanish.

Advance notice. Type "remind me 30 minutes before" and you get a heads-up as well as the reminder itself. It carries across a repeating series, so you set it once.

Spotlight search. Your reminders now turn up in iPhone search. Tap a result to open it.

A Control Center button. Add Paloma to Control Center and you are one tap from a new reminder, including from the Lock Screen.

Undo. Completed or deleted something you didn't mean to? The message that appears takes it back.

A repeat editor. Tap the repeat chip to change how often a reminder repeats, or stop it repeating, without retyping the sentence.

Fixed
— A repeating reminder that missed one occurrence stopped notifying you for every occurrence after it. It keeps going now.
— Spanish dates written day-first could be read in the wrong order.

### 1.3 — 2026-07-29

A new look, folders, and Paloma now speaks Spanish.

• Redesigned throughout — softer surfaces, springier motion, a calmer feed.
• Folders. Group reminders by work, home or errands — or don't; everything stays where it was.
• Spanish. Type "llama a mamá mañana a las 3" and Paloma reads the place, time and trigger. It follows your device language, and you can change it any time in Settings.
• Phrasebook. Tap to see every kind of sentence Paloma understands.
• The capture box now sits above the keyboard and grows as Paloma reads your sentence, so the words you're typing never move.
• Clearer notifications that lead with the reminder itself.
• Fixed: place reminders created on a first run could silently never fire.
