## What is Location?

Quickly share your location via SMS. Location information can be automatically obtained and located before sending, or users can manually input it, including GPS coordinates and street/house numbers. This information can be used for navigation to quickly reach your location. This feature is primarily used in social scenarios such as dating, picking up people, ordering food, chauffeured transportation, travel, and contacting family.

### 26.10.4 — 2026-10-05

• Unified the App Store, home-screen and in-app name as Location-SMS.
• Updated location fetching with multiple accuracy-level retries and a recent-location fallback.
• Refreshed address lookup behavior to reduce reuse of outdated address results.
• Show the initial address while nearby street-number suggestions load in the background.
• Improved nearby-address selection, query timeouts, and retry or manual-entry guidance when lookup fails.
• Improved handling of repeated location requests and cancellation to prevent outdated results from replacing newer ones.
• Replaced custom promo codes with official App Store offer-code redemption for annual Pro subscriptions.
• Fixed subscription-screen navigation and improved backup/import and message-send handling.

### 26.9.1 — 2026-09-01

Improved automatic street address accuracy. Auto Fetch now searches for street numbers within 25 metres, removes duplicate candidates, prioritises matching previously sent addresses, and lets you choose the correct address when multiple matches are found. Improved retry and timeout handling for nearby-address searches.

Updated in-app naming to Location SMS across supported languages. Improved automatic Pro subscription restoration after reinstalling, and Restore Purchases is now hidden when Pro is active. Clarified voice recording and subscription text.

Improved Pro subscription restoration after reinstalling the app. Active subscriptions are now detected automatically, and subscription purchase labels have been clarified across supported languages.
