## What is Lochan?

Use any model you want, and drive the agents on every machine you own.

On-device and private. Downloaded and local. Cloud with your own keys. Switch per chat, whenever you like. Then open the real terminal for the agent that stopped to ask you something.

ANY MODEL, ONE APP
Pick the right model for the conversation:

- Apple's built-in on-device model - private, instant, fully offline
- Downloadable open models (Qwen, Gemma, Llama) - local weights on your phone
- Cloud models with your own API key - GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok. Lochan talks to them directly, never through us

No account. Your messages only go where you send them.

YOUR AGENTS, EVERY HOST
Save every Mac or Linux box that runs Herdr - laptop, studio, the machine at home - and switch to the one that needs you. Lochan connects over SSH. Your code, your agents, and your keys stay on that hardware. Nothing of yours sits on a Lochan server.

It does not integrate with your agent. It reads the terminal the agent is already running in, so it works with Claude Code, Codex, Aider, Gemini CLI, Goose, OpenCode, and anything with a prompt. A new agent ships next month and it works on day one.

KNOW WHICH ONE NEEDS YOU
Six agents running means five are fine and one is stuck. Lochan sorts them so you can tell in a second:

- Attention board - Blocked, Working, Done, and Idle as swipeable columns
- Workspaces - agents grouped by the workspace they are working in
- Living tiles - the whole fleet as a grid that moves as your agents do

A REAL TERMINAL, NOT A STATUS PAGE
Tap any agent and you get the actual session. Full output, scrollback, and a keyboard. Write a prompt, dictate it, answer y/n, drop in a screenshot, kill a run that has gone sideways.

PAIR IN A SCAN
One command on the host, then scan the QR from Lochan. The phone key lands by itself. Nothing to type, no private key to copy.

Cellular needs a VPN or a mesh network. Tailscale is the two-minute version.

WHILE YOU WAIT
Conversations branch instead of overwrite. Pinch out to see the whole tree as a river and jump anywhere in it. Attach images, PDFs, and text files. Have replies read aloud. Share a chat with a link we cannot read.
