## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.0.1 — 2026-10-08

Locimers now speaks your language — plus a smoother, more polished playback experience.

NEW: SEVEN ADDITIONAL LANGUAGES
Locimers is now fully localized in Japanese, Korean, French, German, Portuguese, Spanish, and Italian. Every screen — menus, settings, onboarding, and system permission prompts — is translated, and the app automatically follows your device language. No setup required.

IMPROVED FIRST-RUN EXPERIENCE
- A refreshed welcome guide walks you through the app's key features at a glance.
- A new on-screen gesture tutorial appears over the main screen and shows exactly how to navigate: swipe up or down to change videos, swipe left or right for full screen, tap to play or pause, and double-tap to favorite.

BETTER PHOTO LIBRARY ACCESS
- Photo library permission is now requested through the standard iOS system prompt. The app respects your choice at all times, and if access is turned off, you'll see clear guidance with a shortcut to System Settings.

FIXES & REFINEMENTS
- Fixed an issue where the first video could appear as a black screen at launch.
- Improved opening videos directly from the Grid and Waterfall views.
- Unified the top control bar (Favorites, Settings) across Feed, Grid, and Waterfall modes for a consistent look.
- Streamlined Playback settings — removed redundant auto-play options.
- Various stability and performance improvements.

Your videos never leave your device — no accounts, no uploads, no tracking. Enjoy the update, and if you like Locimers, a rating or review means a lot to us!
