## What is Lock Rush?

One lock. One tap. Seventeen ways to get it wrong.

A dot races around a lock. Tap when it crosses the target. Miss, and the lock resets. That is the whole game — and then it starts taking the rules away.

REFLEX
The dot reverses on every hit. The target shrinks to a sliver. The dot fades out before it arrives. Two dots orbit against each other and you have to catch the collision. The target burns down in real time. The dot stops orbiting and rebounds off walls instead.

MEMORY
A grid lights up, then goes dark — reproduce it. Numbered tiles flash, then vanish — tap them in order. Coloured pairs appear for a moment — find every match. Get it wrong and the board shows you exactly what you missed.

TRACKING
One card shows a key, every card turns face down, and then they trade places. Follow the key and tap it when they stop. More cards, more swaps, and feints that set out and come back. Not memory — you can watch the whole thing and still lose it.

IRON MAN
The daily event. One life, no checkpoint, no continues: one miss ends the run, however far you got. A different mode every day, identical for every player on earth. The top ten share the day's gold, and whoever leads holds the crown on the menu until somebody takes it.

THE GAUNTLET
Every mode you have unlocked, shuffled after every single lock. You never get to settle into a rhythm.

GOLD
Coins turn up on targets, and bonus rounds fill the board with coins and bombs. Every lock you crack pays, and the rate climbs the longer you survive. Bank enough and you can buy your way back into a run you were about to lose, or spend it on dot skins and colour schemes that take over the whole screen.

BUILT TO BE PICKED UP
Runs last seconds. Retry is a single tap. Checkpoints every five locks mean you never replay ground you have already covered. Memory modes have a speed setting, because the right amount of time to look at a board is not the same for everyone.

NO NONSENSE
No ads. No in-app purchases. Gold is earned, never bought. There is no account to create and nothing to sign up for — leaderboards use the Game Center already on your iPhone, and your scores are the only thing that ever leaves the device.

### 5/5 — Way more addicting than I expected

*2026-09-04*

Lock Rush is one of those games that looks incredibly simple at first, and then somehow has you saying “okay, one more try” for the next 30 minutes. The UI is super clean and easy to navigate, and I really like how quickly you can jump between all the different game modes.

The leaderboard is probably one of my favorite features. Being able to see how you stack up against players around the world makes even the short runs feel competitive. The daily challenges are another great touch and give you a reason to keep coming back every day.

There’s also a surprisingly good amount of variety with the different modes — reflex, memory, tracking, etc. — so it never feels like you’re just playing the exact same game over and over. I especially like that some modes change the rules as you progress and actually make you adapt.

Overall, really polished game, great interface, tons of replayability, and a perfect game to pick up for a few minutes whenever you have time. Definitely worth giving it a shot. 5/5!

Just an incredibly fun game!

### 5/5 — Masterpiece

Game is super addicting. Great ui and variety of game modes.

### 5/5 — Addicting

*2026-08-29*

Lock Rush is seriously addictive. I downloaded it just to check it out and ended up playing way longer than I expected. It’s super easy to pick up, but once you start trying to beat your score, it gets competitive FAST. The gameplay feels smooth, the concept is simple but really well executed, and it has that perfect “one more try” feeling.

For a new app, I’m genuinely impressed with how polished it already feels. Definitely worth downloading, and I’m excited to see what gets added in future updates. Get in early before this one blows up!

### 5/5 — Insanely Addictive

No ads. No wifi. Cannot put it down!

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.6 — 2026-09-16

Placements
Finish in the top ten of any board and the game now says so - which place you took, how far off first you were, and what it pays. Almost nobody is ever first at something; a lot more people can reach a top ten.

Thirty missions
Up from ten, so there is something left to chase. Three dot skins are now earned only - a fifty chain, lock fifty, twenty-five Iron Man runs. No amount of gold will buy them.

A place to start
New players now get a card that says what the game actually is before anything else asks for their attention.

Also
- Iron Man's card finally looks like the button it always was
- The memory modes no longer flash NICE at you when you have just lost
- Leaderboards hold together properly: scores finished offline are queued and filed later, and the daily event now runs on the same clock for everyone on Earth
- Decoy has been retired

### 1.5 — 2026-09-04

IRON MAN OPENS FROM THE START
The daily event no longer makes you wait. One life, one shot, and a mode that rotates every day — the same run for every player on Earth.

PLACES, NOT JUST CROWNS
Land anywhere in the top ten and the game says so: what place you earned, how far off first you were, and what it pays. Almost nobody is ever number one. Nearly anyone can be ranked.

KNOW WHERE YOU STAND
Every mode card now shows your own rank on that board, not just the name of whoever is beating you. Locked modes tell you what they are and how close you are to opening them.

INSIGHTS
A new screen under Settings: which modes you actually play, how far you get, and how long a run lasts. It never leaves your device.

FIXES
• The memory modes no longer flash NICE at you when you have just lost
• Leaderboards are steadier — a score that fails to send is retried, and the daily now runs on one shared day boundary worldwide
• Reduce Motion now turns off confetti as well as screen shake
• The continue price is readable instead of looking like a second level number

### 1.4 — 2026-09-02

See where you stand against the crown.

Finish an Iron Man run and it now tells you how you did against the day's best — whether you took it, or exactly how far short you fell and who is holding it. Take the crown and you will know about it.

Fixes.
• Iron Man's briefing said "three lives" directly under a paragraph promising one.
• The crown could take a few launches to appear after a winning run; it updates as soon as the score lands.
• Choosing Relaxed memory speed was quietly keeping every score off the leaderboards, including modes with no memory board at all.
• The daily mode could land a day out around a daylight-saving change, putting players on different runs on the same date.
• The daily crown no longer says the throne is vacant when Game Center is switched off.
• The daily purse is a little lighter: 8,000 gold for first.

### 1.3 — 2026-09-02

IRON MAN — a new daily event.
One life. One miss ends the run, however far you got. No checkpoint, no continues. A different mode every day, the same for every player on earth.

The top ten each day share the gold, and whoever leads holds the crown on the menu until somebody takes it.

SLEIGHT — a new mode.
A key goes under one card, they all turn face down, and then they shuffle. Follow it. Not memory — tracking, which is a different thing entirely.

MEMORY SPEED
Relaxed, Normal or Sharp. How long the tiles stay lit is now your choice rather than ours.

ALSO
• Eight new dot skins, including four that cost more than the rest of the shop put together
• Colour schemes reorganised, with a Gameday section
• Memory games unlock much earlier — Recall is now your third mode
• Sift marks its greens and reds with shapes as well as colour
• Records set before leaderboards existed now appear on the boards
• Fixed impacts being clipped mid-air, and a shuffle that was too fast to follow

### 1.2 — 2026-08-31

Leaderboards are here — and there's one for every mode.

• 20 global boards: one for each of the 18 mini-games, plus Gauntlet and the Daily Challenge. Each has a Today and an All-time cut, so there are lots of ways to be first.
• See who holds each mode right on the game-select screen. Being number one should be something other people can see.
• Your own rank is pinned to the board, so you can always find yourself without scrolling.

The memory games now unlock far earlier. Recall is your third mode instead of your seventh, and the whole memory family — plus Reel — arrives in the first stretch rather than hours in. They're too good to be hidden.

Long streaks sound better. The rising tone used to stop climbing and repeat one note; now it opens into a figure that keeps building.

Also: 22 new colour schemes in the shop. Country flags and team colours that take over the whole screen instead of just tinting it.

No account, no sign-up. Leaderboards use the Game Center already on your iPhone.
