### 1/5 — App creates many issues for user

*2026-08-27*

This app not only drained my battery, but also takes control of all my personal files and it claims to need to know my location not only during school, but at all times which is problematic. Also, it blocked you and ruins your homepage.

### 1/5 — An unethical Invasion of privacy.

*2026-08-27*

The concept is a new low. My school started using this as a “solution “ to the constant battle against Phone usage in school. This app is a complete invasion of privacy tracking my every move on my phone.. the app glitches out before I’m on campus and locks down my phone and also wastes all my battery. I also know that the app is tracking my phone when I’m in school and out of school because it has access to my screen time. This is absurd and should not be allowed. My school should not be able to see anything on my phone throughout school and after school. Complete invasion of privacy and should be banned . I’m in no prison. People who are old enough to have a phone should be old enough to be responsible with the decisions they’re making with their phones and if not then their own parents should be responsible for it.

### 1/5 — Invasion

*2026-08-24*

Justice for us students. This is an invasion of our privacy. 1984.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2026-08-24*

It drains my battery the entire day. At the start of the day I have 100% by the end of the school day I have 30%. On top of that I have to stay at school for another 4-5 hours because of sports so this is very frustrating. On top of that it says it only tracks your location when you’re on campus but when you’re off campus it doesn’t…So how does it know when I get on or off. While students obviously should be on their phones less is true, having a freak control app is extremely unnecessary and feels like an invasion of privacy.

### 1/5 — Tracks location

*2026-08-24*

It knows where you are at all times

### 1/5 — They’re working with the Chinese to spy on us

*2026-08-23*

Title

### 1/5 — 1984

*2026-08-22*

This app is the epitome of an authoritarian dystopia run by the administration at schools to prevent students from communicating with their family or the outside world. This app installed 30 different malware viruses on my phone and drains my battery to 10% from full charge every day. Whoever developed this app has broken all laws of the Geneva Convention and deserves to be held accountable for his actions. Students across the world must unionize to defeat the regime. “If there is hope it lies in the proles” - George Orwell

### 1/5 — Major Privacy violation

*2026-08-21*

I don’t want my school knowing my exact location at all times and I don’t want them monitoring all the activity going on in my phone. This is completely unethical and unnecessary.

### 1/5 — Worst app ever

*2026-08-20*

Do not get, its drains your battery and steals your data

### 4/5 — The Final Solution

*2026-08-19*

The Administration at our school has had a constant battle against phone usage during school time; however, I truly believe this will put an end to the struggle with the administration coming out on top, which is either a success story or a tragedy depending on your point of view. Website clearly uses AI. 4 stars.

### 1/5 — Shut it down

*2026-08-19*

Just a horrible app

### 1/5 — Feels like a major privacy violation…

*2026-08-18*

I tried getting this for school and when I went to download it, the app immediately flagged my phone as a fake one that “needed to be reviewed.” How do they review the phone from a different location without me allowing the app to access anything other than the camera? The 24/7 location tracking is scary and the fact I can’t disable my location for the app without my school being contacted is worrying. I am not able to find anything online about this app other than Lockedin Ai which has awful reviews and many people seem to distrust. The battery draining feature is also threatening. If I don’t bring my phone to school I get punished by having my phones battery drained? Why do I need to bring my phone to school to keep it alive if they don’t want phones active in school? The entire premise of the app is a worry to my personal data and privacy and I would NOT recommend getting this ever.

### 1/5 — Battery Drainer

*2026-06-03*

take this down bro

### 1/5 — Can’t even open

*2026-04-02*

This app won’t even let you log in. The thing that sends the email to let you approve sign in doesn’t work.

### 1/5 — App is designed to steal and sell our data 🤬🤬

*2026-09-01*

This is the worst app ever. The app tracks us 24/7 when they don’t need to, and sells us, the students data away. This app is made by ai and is poorly programmed so our data can easily be accessed!!!!!!!!!! This app is so bad and needs to immediately be removed from the App Store. I cannot believe that my school has chosen this route and chooses to continue using this awful app and having our battery drained by the end of the day. How am I supposed to goon in the stalls when my phone is locked??!! Please remove this app from the AppStore so that my school must find another solution
Xooxo,

### 1/5 — Invasion of privacy

*2026-09-01*

This app is disgustingly awful, I was shocked, surprised, and extremely dissatisfied with how this app turned out. It wanted insane amount of permissions which felt extremely invasive. Not only that, the app drains all your battery. Which is awful for students who need to contact their parents at the end of the day. Some people have even said that when using this app too close to school with navigation there phone turns off. This is awful and NEEDS to be fixed.

### 1/5 — Absolutely awful

*2026-09-01*

Locked In is one of the worst apps I’ve used. The experience is frustrating, poorly designed, and nowhere near what I expected based on how the app presents itself. Instead of being useful, it has been a complete waste of time.

I rarely leave one-star reviews, but this app earned it.

### 1/5 — Bad app

*2026-09-01*

This app in their own privacy policy says “Location data is not collected outside school hours or off campus.” I received a notification from Apple saying “locked in has used your location 3 times in the last 2 days” it showed points and times. It tracked me both off campus and on a Saturday. This app lies in their own privacy policy. This should not be allowed for schools to use. It has students give their personal data to whoever runs this app. Bad app.

### 1/5 — Ts fryin me

*2026-08-31*

Today was the 3 day I have used this app and let me say I am not a fan. First thing first on my way to school while I was using the gps as a new driver and as I am still still figuring things this is an important tool, yet this tool be un accessible when I’m anywhere near the school causing frustration. I have also experienced and hes are problems about locking the phone and it not unlocking.

### 1/5 — Dishonest and misleading information

*2026-08-31*

The app claims it doesn’t track location outside of school which is false, creators of the app left fake reviews about it being successful in schools before it was ever even active, and many other claims they have made will soon show to be untrue.

### 1/5 — this buns

*2026-08-30*

this app is horrible and imprisoned me during school and it also makes me feel that I’m being watched because all the administration in my school has my location and I’m not comfortable with that and also it does not allow me to use my phone during the day when I have something important to do so I recommend this app to be taken down from the App Store

### 1/5 — Violation privacy

*2026-08-28*

As a member of my school’s administration I believe that the schools choice to download this app is a violation of our students privacy. It eliminates any chance at trust and connection between members of faculty and students! Please ban this from the App Store and allow our students to grow as trusted members of society.

### 1/5 — Great concept terrible actuality

*2026-08-27*

The concept is a great idea but this app is not perfected enough to be put in use. It has caused many safely concerns because it automatically shuts off all apps if student get anywhere near their school, causing some to get lost when their gps stops out of nowhere. The phone should not be turning off on its own, only when the students press to lock in. The locking should turn off all apps except for approved apps instead of making the phone completely useless to the point that you can’t even press the off button and have to waste all of your battery for no reason. There are also concerns about emergency’s and having students in contact with parents. Being able to call a parent should not be only if the school sets off the emergency mode, it should be a given to always have. These are just a few of the concerns and reasons that this app should be worked on before it is forced upon students and actually put into effect.

### 1/5 — Abuse of Power

*2026-08-27*

Kids are able to hand their phone into the front and it works fine. My students location is being tracked even while at home and away from school it’s fully locked down they can’t take photos. Their battery drains and have no battery by the end of the day. Don’t recommend as a parent and teacher!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Locked in

*2026-09-01*

Honestly, Locked In is one of the best apps I’ve used for staying off my phone at school. It locks your phone so you’re not constantly checking notifications or getting distracted, and it actually makes it way easier to focus in class. I also like that it keeps me accountable instead of relying on willpower. If you’re someone who gets distracted by your phone at school, I definitely recommend giving this app a try. It’s simple, useful, and actually works.

### 5/5 — Isaac Fakheri

*2026-08-30*

If you’re looking for an app that actually helps you stay focused, motivated, and consistent, Locked In is definitely worth checking out. The app has a really motivating feel to it, and it makes staying on track feel much more engaging instead of like another boring productivity task.

You can tell Noah Fakheri put real thought into the experience. The design is clean, the concept is motivating, and the whole app gives you that extra push to stop procrastinating and actually get things done.

What I especially like is how it encourages consistency and accountability. Whether you’re trying to study, work on your goals, or simply build better habits, Locked In makes it easier to stay committed.

⭐ Highly recommend giving it a try! If you’re serious about becoming more focused and staying “locked in,” this app is definitely worth having.

### 5/5 — This changed my kids life

*2026-05-01*

My son, Josh, used to always be on tik tok. His school bought this app and it really helped him. I think the fact that he didn’t have phone access during the day made him less addicted outside of school. I saw two high schoolers started this. GREAT WORK

### 5/5 — I LOVE THIS APP
