Great!

It works exactly as advertised. It is a subscription but it’s only like $2 a month or $20 a year, which is really reasonable for something like this. My only slight issue is that you can’t do the same habit more than once a day, which is unfortunate. I wish you could choose how many times you can do one habit in a day. Other than that, it works really well and has a lot of cool features.

Good App, but Main Lock Function is Buggy

The locking feature is buggy. It would lock me out even when I trade in for time, or when I press for emergency unlock. I like the app overall (simple reward point system for daily tasks is a great feature) but can’t justify paying for an app that doesn’t do its main function. Please fix! Would love to pay for the app if it worked!

Bruh

So I’m trying to find one of these apps for my screen time and every time they are paid for bro. Like I am not paying for something to block my phone

not for free 😔

everything was fine and dandy until the subscription screen came up and i realized that it’s a pay to use app 💔

Not good

The app SEEMS good at first, but it ends up not working well. My current problem is that when you buy screen time, it doesn’t let you access your apps. Also, when you go to the emergency break, the same happens. It might just be on my end, but neither the app settings, app restrictions, or even the actual settings app can fully turn off the app locking. The AI on the camera also works terribly and it takes multiple minutes to figure out that I’m holding a book.

Response from developer

I‘m sorry to hear about your experience. I have never heard of this issue from anyone else before and if not even the settings on your phone change the behavior it seems like it is an issue on your end. Apple‘s settings normally override any other app that is restricting. So if you set up app blocking in screen time settings that might be the issue. I would still love to hear more about it to actively prevent this from happening to others and to help get your situation sorted. I am aware of the book recognition not being perfect and I am working on a better system right now. Thank you for your feedback as it helps to improve the app. If you would like to have a chat about your issues, send me a dm on social media or write a mail to lockedinnapp@gmail.com so we can find a solution for you :)
