The app is great but the other person can just uninstall the app to access their locked apps without you getting notified of it. If they can add a feature that tells you if the other person uninstalls the app or maybe a feature where it will dissolve the pact if you uninstall up, thus notifying the other person of that. If a feature like that was added then I’d change my rating to 5 stars.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the review — glad it's working well for you. We hear you on this one. Unfortunately iOS doesn't provide a method for an app to know when it's been deleted, so there's currently no reliable way for us to detect an uninstall — which rules out both alerting your partner and automatically ending the pact. It's a system-level restriction, and there's no clear path around it today. We'll continue to watch for changes and explore other approaches.

One moment, every time. Ending a lock early now always brings up the same "Take a moment" screen, no matter what you own. The pause to reconsider is the whole point — so nobody skips past it silently anymore. Not even us.

Also in this release: fixed a stubborn bug where ending a pact during a pause could leave one phone stuck locked. Locks now end when they should. Every time.

### 1.2 — 2026-07-28

Small fixes and smoother edges — nothing about your pacts changes. More soon.

### 1.1 — 2026-07-08

This update is about one thing: the app keeping its word.

• Timed locks now end on time — even with the app closed. No more
  reopening LockPact to get your apps back.
• Pauses lock back up right on schedule, and fixed some double notifications
• Pacts are steadier — locks apply and lift cleanly on both devices.
• Squashed a notification that blamed your partner for "removing" a lock
  that had simply finished. They didn't do it. We know.
• Reliability fixes with shields removing after a completed self-lock or solo lock.

LockPact now requires iOS 18.
