### 5/5 — Missing things from original game...

*2019-11-19, version 1.0.10*

I loved this game back when I used to play on the DS original, it was AMAZING!!!!!!! One thing about it that I find annoying, is that when you are in the battle phase, the guards you place down slide slowly down the screen. And if you are running into a wall, Lock will run backwards for a bit until you stop him. Please fix these bugs!
P.S: please give us back the cannon mini game!
Also, I remember the game being much harder on DS, and there was also a level that had snow in it but was different than the current ones.

### 5/5 — iCloud saves

*2019-11-07, version 1.0.10*

Please add ICloud saves like battlechasers :)

### 5/5 — Great game!

*2019-10-01*

Looks great, enjoying the gameplay... curious about other “enhancements” from the DS version. Have all the timers been removed? (Haven’t encounter any yet during the build phase 😁).

Thanks Handy Games!

### 1/5 — 日本語対応していません

*2022-03-24, version 1.0.11*

DSで遊んでた頃が懐かしく、日本語での紹介ページがありインストールしましたが、日本語対応ではありませんでした。
アップデートで日本語対応して欲しいです。

### 1/5 — 酷いシステム

*2020-06-28, version 1.0.11*

### 3/5 — Need more functions

*2020-12-11*

Please add controller support and iCloud sync across the devices.

### 3/5 — A great port but...

*2019-11-08, version 1.0.10*

I hope they will implement support for iCloud because I just lost my progress when I restored my iPhone.

### 3/5 — Great concept , needs work

*2019-10-01, version 1.0.8*

Where to begin,
I love the concept, the strategic elements and despite (a serious lack of instruction and information ) the gameplay is great .
But you guys seriously need a tower list or bestiary of sorts for basically everything.
I’ve managed to get 10 days in through trial and error( and more deaths than I can count)

It’s a shame that you can’t revolve the map during lay-out, leaving obvious blind spots for placement ...( a 360 map would resolve this instantly)

Outright , I am trying to love this game , but it’s getting progressively harder to stay the course.

### 4/5 — Please add controller support!

*2022-06-05, version 1.0.11*

Would love to have controller support for this

### 4/5 — (Mostly) Faithful recreations

*2020-08-14*

I owned and have enjoyed many many hours of the original DS game. The story is excellent, the music is phenomenal, and the gameplay is very rewarding. That being said, I was a bit hesitant to try a mobile version of it, but it was a very good recreation of the original! Almost exactly the same art style, with a slight and unnoticeable touch up on characters. That being said, the music is slightly (and noticeably) different, and I dont enjoy that part, especially since the original soundtrack was so much more fitting. This music feels more rushed/fast paced, and Im not a fan, but the rest of the game is fantastic for an adaptation!

### 4/5 — Fun but needs work on the UI

*2020-04-02*

Great game but could you possibly make the buttons larger? They are too small even on an iPhone X. There is still usable real estate available on the screen. Maybe make the buttons disappear after selecting to place what you are building.

### 4/5 — Very good, but needs some work

*2019-10-01, version 1.0.8*

Very fun concept although can be a bit difficult on iOS. Could really do with some tool tips for ‘helpers’ and ‘traps’ as you only get told once what each one does, after that you have to guess.

Played it none stop, never played it previously, right near the end of the game now and it’s pretty easy once you know how to build, infact on my first playthrough on normal difficulty I have only actually died twice.

HOWEVER - fighting ‘mute’ with heathen or whatever her name is - the level goes to load and boom nothing, can’t continue or play even though right near the end of the game. Only thing stopping the 5* ... hope for a resolution so I can finish the storyline.

Can be difficult at times to control lock especially when you have towers built close to each other and building could do with a building toggle (transparency mode) to aid in placement or a zoom function.

Definitely had fun so far though!

### 5/5 — Just make a part 2 already!

*2024-05-15*

Throw back to my childhood, and I know it is just wishful thinking but I want a part 2 so badly.

### 5/5 — Great game

*2022-06-08, version 1.0.11*

Is there any chance that there could be size scaling / allow the user to change where the directional control pad is located.

### 5/5 — Please make a squeal please

I’m so happy this game is on iTunes. I loved playing this on my DSI when I was younger. This game never failed to make me cry in the end.

### 5/5 — Great game from my childhood!

*2020-05-24*

I remember playing this on my DS lite when I was younger and having a great time. It’s a great rpg tower defense like game with a simple but great story. This port does the game justice and for $3 why wouldn’t you buy it?! I highly recommend.

### 5/5 — Great game!

*2020-04-03*

Loved this on the DS and am super happy I can now play it on my Ipad. Minor complaint is I wish I was able to customize controls. I'm sure it's fine on a phone but on the Ipad the joystick is huge. Otherwise awesome game!

### 5/5 — Good game

*2020-02-20, version 1.0.11*

But have bug

### 5/5 — OMG love the game!

*2020-01-09, version 1.0.10*

This game reminds me of my childhood back on DS when would play every day. I love the fact that they remastered it for iOS. It truly is a piece of nostalgia that I won’t forget, especially when it’s on my phone. Just a bit of advice for the developers:
1. Please add the original soundtrack and sounds for the game, for example, I liked the heavy metal sound when you placed a gate and the source collected sound.
2. Please add back siege mode for the Antonia defence.
3. Rather than a joystick to move lock, why don’t you have an option for drag controls like the original DS version.
4. Add a nightmare difficulty, hard seems to be too easy for experts like myself ;)
5. Perhaps you could have an option to switch back to original DS controls for building and so on. They are both touchscreen after all.

Thanks for bringing back my love for this game!
