## What is Locksy?

Locksy keeps your passwords, passkeys, and authenticator codes in one private iPhone vault — synced by Apple, never by Locksy.

Built for people who want control without complexity, Locksy combines local AES-256 encryption, Face ID unlock, iOS AutoFill, TOTP authenticator codes, and optional encrypted iCloud sync. Use it fully on-device, or turn on sync and your encrypted vault travels through your own Apple ID's private database — not through any Locksy server, because no Locksy server exists.

PRIVACY BY DESIGN
Most password managers run their own cloud infrastructure. When those services experience a breach, your vault data is in the blast radius. Locksy takes a different path: when iCloud sync is on, your vault flows through Apple's CloudKit private database — the same infrastructure that powers iMessage and iCloud Keychain. Locksy literally cannot read it. There is no Locksy backend, no Locksy account server, and no Locksy cloud. The trust boundary is you and Apple, full stop.
