Automated tracking for Med42 enhanced surgical trays

System Loco’s Med42 solution helps hospitals track surgical sets through repeated sterilization cycles without complex or costly infrastructure.

LocoScan detects LocoTag S14BL devices automatically and reports data to LocoAware, enabling reliable location tracking, usage history, and sterilization monitoring across your network.

Hands-free tracking

Once configured, LocoScan can run without user interaction and capture tray activity automatically. When needed, you can also use the app in the foreground to locate/verify a specific tray.


Operational visibility 

LocoScan records:
• Sterilization cycle count
• Time since last sterilization
• Location

Built for traceability and control

LocoScan helps you:
• Automatically very stock levels
• Track usage to support stock invoicing
• Improve traceability for auditing and reporting

All data is uploaded to LocoAware and can be shared to other systems through System Loco’s Integrations layer.
