## What is Locumo?

Locumo helps UK locum professionals track shifts, mileage, invoices and tax-year records without a messy spreadsheet.

Built by a UK optometrist, Locumo is designed for the real admin that comes with locum work: remembering what you worked, what you earned, what you invoiced, who has paid, and what your accountant needs later.

Use Locumo to add the clinics or practices you work at, log shifts on a calendar, see monthly earnings, create invoice PDFs, mark payments, track mileage and export accountant-ready reports.

### 1.4 — 2026-08-21

Locumo 1.4 is a big update, built around one idea: less typing, more diary.

• Calendar import. Connect & sync your Apple, Outlook and Google Calendars. Locumo finds your booked shifts, groups them by practice, and adds them after a quick review.
• Auto-invoicing. Locumo can draft invoices after your shift/block and email them to your practices. You stay in control of when and what goes out.
• Catch up on past shifts. Mark a backlog of old shifts as paid in one go, without creating invoices you never sent.
• A fresh, calmer look across the whole app, with a simpler Settings.
• A rebuilt first-run setup that gets you into your diary faster.
• An inbox for occasional short notes from the developer.
• Lots of smaller fixes and polish.

### 1.1 — 2026-07-28

Locumo update 1.2 is a big one: notifications, a faster calendar, and rock-solid offline support.

Notifications. Get a shift reminder the evening before, a morning "time to leave" alert with live traffic, and gentle nudges for overdue invoices and shifts still to invoice. All optional, off by default, and configurable in Settings.

Calendar. Drag to extend shifts, merged multi-day shift stickers, easier tap-to-open details, practice reordering, a new year view, plus haptics, dark mode polish, and smoother iOS interactions throughout.

Shifts and invoicing. Hourly rates, break lengths, and one-off manual shifts. Invoices get clearer totals, payment terms with a due date, an overdue badge with reminder chasing, undo for "mark paid", and better PDF handling.

Addresses and mileage. Type any address and pick from smart suggestions. Mileage is worked out automatically from your home address, with big accuracy improvements, and your home address can now simply follow your billing address.

Works offline. Your calendar, practices, settings, and invoices load instantly from your device, edits sync safely when you're back online, and launch and sign-in are faster with fewer blank moments.

Plus improved keyboard handling, VoiceOver labels, and a wide range of reliability and security improvements.
