Tried once again to leave a $20 tip but the most the app would allow was $5.11, or 25%. Extremely unfortunate for the hard working folks preparing and delivering the food. ### 2/5 — Maps *2021-01-04, version 3.3.15* My address won’t show up properly on their map system, and every time I’ve done delivery it takes over an hour because I can’t communicate with the deliverer. Every time I leave special instructions they seem to not see it or just not read it. I wish I could contact them directly. ### 2/5 — Lodel isn’t that good *2020-09-21, version 3.3.15* The drivers are nice, the restaurants are often good- the restaurants & the drivers often don’t know what the other is doing. Today, as often happens, I tried using the promotional coupon from the email. They magically almost never work then it’s lots of time back & forth applying them after the fact. I’d like to tip the driver but it’s difficult when a 13 dollar meal is 26 dollars after delivery. ### 2/5 — Needs updates *2020-06-23, version 3.3.13* The menu for Pato restaurant in Flagstaff needs an update. When selecting pad Thai there is no tofu option only animal and fish proteins. Also head free coupon for delivery but the app wouldn’t use it. ### 1/5 — Avoid at all costs *2020-05-29, version 3.3.13* I have tried to order delivery with LoDel twice and twice have ended up picking up the food myself after the order was passed from driver to driver with no updates on when the food would be delivered, or if anyone was even en route to the restaurant. Both times I contacted customer service, and both times my request for a refund was ignored, instead offering me a credit for my next order - a waste since I will not be using them again. Save yourself the trouble and just use doordash. ### 1/5 — Unreliable Service *2020-04-18, version 3.3.13* If inaccurate store hours, incorrect menus, 2 hour delivery times, and having your order cancelled after waiting an hour are your thing, then this is the service for you! We tried to support a local company, but have been left disappointed every time. They go to all my favorite places and places I didn’t know existed. Where is that LODEL? *2020-02-06, version 3.3.11* And you wonder why you haven’t heard from me lately, it’s because of things like that! Sometimes I think that you are ripping your customers off! You sent me an email with the offer that was supposed to be good for 3 days...well, this is the 3rd day and I ordered because of this discount. I am very disappointed in Lodel!! I decided to not use Lodel after I ordered and my order was canceled with no explanation. I waited over 30 minutes for my food to arrive. I checked the app and nothing. I only found out my order was canceled after I checked my email. I’ve had other issues before as well where I was only reimbursed a few cents. Don’t waste your money or time on this app. ### 1/5 — Disappointing *2022-04-14, version 3.3.15* Lodel is terrible in my area. Stick with grub hub or DoorDash. Every time I order I wait for over an hour then lodel cancels it or it takes hours for it to be delivered ### 1/5 — Terrible at the One thing your app is supposed to do! *2022-01-08, version 3.3.15* I ordered food for my family in town and used LoDel. I completed the order at 4:21pm and 40 minutes later they emailed me saying they had no drivers available to deliver the food. Isn’t that your business model?? Then to top it off they say it will take 5-7 days to refund my money which is was $134. So now on top of needing figure out new dinner plans I have to be short $134 in my account for a week because this company’s main business function is not available? I will never use this horrible app or LoDel service again! ### 1/5 — Food always late *2021-06-24, version 3.3.15* The food is either late (1-2 hours) or never arrives. Has happened multiple times now. When I contacted the company for a refund this last time they just said “it was delivered” and left me hanging. ### 1/5 — Don’t bother *2021-06-07, version 3.3.15* It’s better to just get the food yourself. They were good when they first started but since others have offered delivery service, Lodel has been around 25% reliable. Most of the time we wait more then an hour, JUST to get confirmation that someone is picking our order up. Other times it’s been 2.5 hours and then we are told our order has been canceled. Not a business I’d put faith into for an on time order. Expect them to go under in curtain cities. ### 1/5 — True garbage *2021-04-19, version 3.3.15* If you ask for help, they hang up on you. If you try to cancel your order, then it’s too late because they hung up on you and deadline passed. Then they say it’s our local restaurants’ fault for filling order and we should pay anyway. Bloomington deserves better than some New Jersey startup. ### 1/5 — App is trash *2021-04-16, version 3.3.15* Within the app you cannot communicate with the driver and while entering your address, it will auto find your location and the location could be incorrect. ### 1/5 — Scammers *2021-02-14, version 3.3.15* They are scammers, I order yesterday for Valentine’s Day and my order got canceled due to the driver losing his card. Now they state I cannot get my money back in two weeks. I will never order from this app! ### 1/5 — Cancel delivery! *2021-02-13, version 3.3.15* This service is horrible! We ordered in Flagstaff, Arizona, and waited for an hour. We kept checking the order status and nothing had changed, and then we received a notice that they had cancelled the order. We called the restaurant, and they had already prepared the food, and were waiting for someone to pick it up. They said “Lodel cancels on us sometimes. They don’t give us notice. “ absolutely ridiculous! ### 1/5 — Inefficient *2020-11-23, version 3.3.15* Each order takes over an hour to deliver. They seem to try to pick multiple orders up at once and then deliver. The app itself is not clean. The layout could be improved, the ability to see past orders details would be nice. Especially, when the driver doesn’t send a text on the deliver...even the app doesn’t keep me updated.
