Hopeless, had to go online with a computer as the phone scree is too small to access the web directly ### 1/5 — Utterly useless *2024-07-28, version 2.2.6* V2.2.6 for iOS ipad issued 3 months ago fails to display a calendar when attempting to book flights. It shows a blank screen. No idea what time money & effort has been invested by the developer but this version was written supposedly to fix bugs. Shame it was not properly beta tested before release. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2024-02-03, version 2.2.3* Arguably the worst app I’ve ever used, can’t put in an email address that contains hyphens. If you try to scroll up the screen to read credit card security information it just keeps asking of you want to abandon your booking. The app will only let you book for someone already 12. This is just plain stupid. ### 2/5 — A good start *2023-05-23, version 2.0.18* Please update the app to make it a little more joined up and useful. You can store all your details in your account page but then still have to enter them manually for ADS. It could be a perfect app and help increase travel to Orkney but like so many ‘apps’ tends to be be not much more than a web page. It acts different in portrait and landscape mode and you cant select dates when in landscape. Logan Air is a great airline, please update the app to match. ### 2/5 — Paul *2023-03-31, version 2.0.18* Had several issues with this app The most annoying is if you are checking your bookings and then when finished press home button you end up with a blank screen Even if you close it off it still remains blank So to view booking again you have to delete app and reload ! This may be the worst app I’ve ever seen. Such a pity as I was excited to see there FINALLY was an app available. ### 2/5 — ADS booking *2022-09-27, version 2.0.18* Why is the ADS booking in the app so overly complicated? Each time you use the app you have to type in your 13 digit ID, it would be great if the app could remember your credentials. Quite often the price in the top banner is different from the price on the bottom half of the screen. If you try and book a flight like this you get an error message. Very frustrating and it has been like this for months now. ### 1/5 — Can’t add boarding pass to apple wallet *2022-09-26, version 2.0.18* How has this not been added. ### 1/5 — Rubbish *2022-08-15, version 2.0.18* Doesn’t work ### 2/5 — Terrible UX *2022-07-13, version 2.0.18* This app was made by developers with no UX input. - Booking in app ‘claim points’ is the only option, I only want to pay cash - inputting account details does not return a result from ‘Account’ tab - Creating an account the D.O.B selection updates a date to the side, not within the selection box (bizarre 2001 type design) Book through the website, avoid this app. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Log in each time? *2026-02-25, version 2.3.2* Is it just me but app makes you log in every time like we’re stuck in the dark ages and doesn’t make it easy by asking for your email but a loyalty number. Let me just take my diary out of my pocket and look for that every time I need to sign in. ### 1/5 — Worst app ever! *2025-11-08, version 2.3.2* I live on a Scottish Island and Loganair is a lifeline service for us so I have no choice but to book with them. This is singularly one of the worst airline apps ever designed. It constantly crashes and loses booking details or cannot take payment details. ### 1/5 — Terrible app *2025-10-27, version 2.3.2* The app is next to useless as nothing works. If you try to book seats, you get to the point of payment then you get an error. Same with trying to check-in and get a boarding pass. You get to the end then it fails. You have to do everything on the main website. Doesn’t work with VPNs, but doesn’t give any sensible errors to let you know. You just need to try things until it works. Quite difficult to find things. Doesn’t save my details, so I need to enter payment details every time. Why isn’t there any integration with Apple Pay? New journey that tries to force seat choosing like Ryanair is annoying and ridiculous considering the already extortionate costs of loganair flights. I would have liked to have been able to see current flight status for meeting or taking family to airport! Does what it says on the tin! The UI for having multiple boarding passes needs to improve as you need to click in and out of your booking several times to get them all displayed. That’s the well done’s over with. App is clunky boarding passes don’t archive themselves once the trip is done. Tried changing seats and an error flashes up saying 0.00 with a large cross. Reached out to customer support and who said that a customer has already purchased the seat despite this being empty. Only a few people onboard yet not allowed to book into rows that’s empty. Looked on the website and can’t change the seat there either. Please Loganair - catch up to the modern world! ### 2/5 — Awful *2025-05-15, version 2.3.1* Having used the Loganair app over several years this version has to be the worst. Clunky, difficult to navigate and very frustrating. The fact that this latest version corrects the spelling mistakes of its predecessor should tell you the level we’re at. I review rarely but what the hell?
