I think not. They become outdated quick and the hardware does not last. Thank you guys! ### 5/5 — Logi Circle 2 - 2017-present *2023-06-05, version 3.5.4* After the cloud issues today, 6/04/23, when all 4 cameras went offline. I decided to write a new review since my last review was back from a few years ago when there were some app alert notification issues. First off, It's hard to ignore the fact that Logitech discontinued the Circle 2 cameras. Which were arguably best in class in regards to overall features like camera accessories, mounting options, Homekit integration, app features, cloud performance etc. There has been some app problems along the way like laggy alert notifications and firmware issues. But most security cameras suffer from that at some point, it’s just the nature of this type of internet connected device. Although Logitech also hasn’t released any new updates to this app for about a year. It’s been running pretty smoothly on the current iOS. Anyone reading this that’s had network issues with camera connectivity. I think most people probably would’ve benefitted upgrading their wifi network hardware to a mesh network at some point in the past 5 years. Wifi network technology has come along way since 2017 and I know personally that solved a lot of network performance issues for me. That’s besides all the Logitech software/firmware related stuff that was out of our hands. For those people who’s cameras were bricked, that was unfortunate. I’ve only had to replace one camera due to a hardware problem, the IR cut off filter failed. Basically night vision was stuck on during the day. Luckily I had a spare camera that I bought when I found out they were discontinuing them. I’ve done some research in the event another camera fails and I need to swap to a 2023 equivalent setup because window mounting is hard to find since Logitech was unique to that in 2017. Wyze seems to be the best option and at a MUCH lower entry cost than Logitech was in 2017. When I have to switch brands I’ll be leaving, not by choice, but because Logitech just isn’t cutting it in 2023. The current camera is overpriced relative to other brands and with far less mounting options and accessories. You can tell Logitech has put more focus on other parts of it’s business. Eventually I’ll have to buy new cameras but this app and these cameras have served me well since 2017. Hopefully my Circle 2 cameras make it another couple years. Before emailing the support team I tried to connect the cameras so I could write down what happens and what messages I get and somehow they just connected. Having tried and tried and tried before I was absolutely despairing. I’m now rating you 5 stars because at the moment everything is working perfectly and back to the standard I need and hoped for. Don’t know how this happened but thank you !!! **Developer response:** 91149, there were some issues with previous versions of the Circle app which have been fixed and customers confirmed it to be working. The alerts on iPhone / iOS were not working for those of us not choosing to use Apple’s HomeKit and stay with this app. The team did it, they made the fix, and for that, I’m grateful that the experience is like it used to be. After a few frustrating weeks I decided to delete the app and reinstall it and since then I’ve had no issues. Overall great camera and app with ability to talk through the camera. One app with cameras in multiple locations. They’re easy to set up and have a good selection of options. I look forward to see what options will be added. I have both cameras on 5G at home and they work great. Notifications come about 30 seconds after an event. The person identification works great. My main use case is to watch my home’s windows and entrances. The IR settings are great too, but only seem to come on when the camera needs it. As far as landscape view only, as others have commented, it would be nice if the controls of the camera turned to portrait while keeping the camera full screen. In my case, one window is watching a vertical range and another is horizontal. It has been fine working with the sideways view for now but it would be nice to have the option to set the camera as portrait-view in my settings. Does not work with home kit for me, but this app works well enough that it is not an issue. It initially connects to the camera and gets the feed, then says camera not responding. ### 5/5 — Parfait, *2017-12-31* Très facile à installer moins de 2 min. Tarif raisonnable.
