I appreciate the simplicity of the layout, the intuitive design, the difficulty of the puzzles and topics/clues are awesome. There are no ridiculous gimmicks. My biggest complaint is that the app glitches sometimes making it impossible to play: sometimes when opening the app, the vertical column headers shift and end up piled up in a jumble in the top left corner. I haven’t been able to figure out a fix for this other than deleting and redownloading the app, which erased all my progress. Not the end of the world, but it does get frustrating. If this could get resolved, it would be flawless. **Developer response:** Very sorry it took me a bit to get to - but my kids have grown up enough that I finally have some free time back and I rebuilt Logic Grid Puzzles, the issues you were having have been fixed!! I hope you'll check it out ;) ### 4/5 — Great game, one big annoying glitch though *2023-05-17* These puzzles are great - not so hard that they’re impossible, but still gives you a good brain workout! There are no ads. No subscription fees. You get the first 10 puzzles free, then if you want, you can buy add-on packs (25 games for a buck - super reasonable!). The interface is basic. Wouldn’t mind some color choices on the actual squares, but nbd. The problem though, is about every 4th or 5th time I open the app, the first header row’s words disappear. No amount of waiting or restarting will change this. You have to completely offload the app and reload it. A quick click of “restore purchases” will unlock your games (though none will be saved). Really annoying. Unless it’s fixed, I’ll probably have to find a new game. ### 4/5 — Titles on top left above box glitch *2022-09-12, version 1.5.3* I really enjoy this app but there is a glitch as noted by another user. The titles above the top left box disappear on every game in each pack. I then have to delete the app completely and reload it. When doing so, it then resets the pack removing the checkbox of all the ones I previously completed correctly. This goes with the starter pack, as well as, the paid packs. Other than that, the game it self is fun and challenging. ### 2/5 — Would be a 5 *2022-09-03, version 1.5.3* I love logic puzzles and these are right up my alley. BUT It is absolutely frustrating that when you open the game the first boxes names never show up. You can’t play the puzzle without that key information. The only way to play is to remove the app, then re-download (then for me restore purchases). It will work when you follow those steps but you have to do it every single time once you close out. Send out an update that fixes this and I will fix my rating ### 4/5 — Glitch *2022-08-02, version 1.5.3* Been loving this game but recently there is a horrible glitch that deletes all the labels on the first columns. Since these labels dont repeat in any other boxes, you cant play without them….the only way to fix this is to delete the app and then reinstall. But this isnt a permanent fix. If you close the app, it will glitch again next time you open it. Very frustrating. This has been happening for at least a month now. Please fix. ### 4/5 — Titles of first row of boxes disappears *2022-06-26* Hello, I have purchased your game and am enjoying it - I play both on an iPad and on my iPhone. However, recently the game has developed a glitch. Whenever I reopen it or start a new puzzle, the labels on the top first set of boxes are missing. These are usually the character names. Nothing else is missing and the game didn’t use to do that. The only way to fix it from my end is to delete the game from my device and download it again. Then the labels are all there. However if I close out of the game, the next time I open it, the top labels for that first set of boxes will be missing again. Very frustrating to have to delete and reload every time I play. Please release a fix for this, or I would be interested in a refund (prefer the fix as I enjoy your game). Thank you. Thanks!! ### 3/5 — Please fix the bug! *2022-05-11, version 1.5.3* Absolutely love this game versus other versions, played for months (maybe years I don’t remember). However I have an issue/bug where the names for the top first box all collect to the top left corner of the screen. If I delete the game and reopen it, I can see everything normally. However if I were to close the game at any point, this bug appears and makes the game unplayable. Lately I have been deleting and redownloading the game every time I want to play, but it is starting to get annoying. Not sure where to reach out for support, and I have seen numerous other reviews saying that buying an expansion pack causes the issue. Please help!!! ### 4/5 — Top left side Text Glitch *2022-02-26, version 1.5.3* I have loved this app for years!! It became my go to when traveling. However, when I tried to load the app, the text on the top row for the left grid becomes combined into one column, leaving the top left tiles blank and the puzzle unsolvable. It fixes when I redownload the app, but I don’t want to keep deleting and redownload if the app! I really hope this issue gets fixed! ### 4/5 — Recent problem *2022-02-23, version 1.5.3* I have enjoyed this puzzle for a long time. I appreciate that I can erase all the answers from the pack and basically start from the beginning again. However lately in the top left-hand grid the titles at the top have disappeared. If I delete the app and download it again they reappear and I’m able to use it. But when I go back after closing it they disappeared again. Very disappointing because it renders it virtually unplayable. I hope they get this fixed. ### 3/5 — i love it but there’s a bug… *2022-02-08, version 1.5.3* i am obsesssed with this game and i think it’s an amazing design. i have boight wan every available pack and i think it’s so worth it for only .99 but i am continuously having to delete the app as there is a bug that creates one of the columns of topics to get stuck at the top and i cannot read them. it’s extremely frustrating as it doesn’t save my progress when i delete it every time. PLEASE fix this!!!!! ### 3/5 — Fun but glitchy *2022-01-29, version 1.5.3* Fun but for 2 days in a row when opening the app the first column doesn’t have any names in it. They’re all bunched up in the top left corner so you can’t solve the puzzle. It’s resolved if you delete and reinstall the app. Not sure how that would work on a paid pack and if reinstalling would keep the purchased pack, I’ve only done the free pack so far. It obviously loses the puzzles I’ve already solved but that’s not really a big deal to me. ### 3/5 — Love this app! *2022-01-08* After solving the free puzzles, I HAD to buy the full pack. I love logic puzzles and this app is the best implementation out of the handful I’ve tried. Can we please have an update that allows dark mode? PLEASE) It would be awesome to be able to export or view my progress somehow. Oh and if there were a way to not lose progress when I upgrade my iPhone, that would also be very awesome. Still, I love the app, just wish it had those things. Edit: so, started from scratch about 6 months ago, and i noticed that I still lose progress when upgrading a phone. Even worse, there is some weird problem with display of text. All text from the top of the first grid is jumbled making it unreadable, which makes puzzles unsolvable. Tried rebooting the phone. Didn’t work. Would love if this could be fixed asap. ### 4/5 — Great but *2022-01-02, version 1.5.3* Its addicting but the words keep getting jumbled up once I close the app. Its really fun but once the app is closed the words get jumbled to side. Due to this problem I have had to delete the app multiple times, lose my data and redownload the app. It would be an amazing app if it werent for the words continously getting jumbled up, leaving me to have to redownload the app. Hopefully this problem can be fixed soon! ### 3/5 — Love this app but it’s broken :( *2021-11-17, version 1.5.3* I love this app and have for years! It offers lots of logic puzzles that offer enough clues to not be too hard but not so many that the puzzles are too easy. However, for some reason, when I launched it today, all the names for the first set of columns are all collided and shoved to the top left corner of my phone screen. It seems like a formatting issue. I can’t tell what the first set of columns say, which makes solving the puzzles practically impossible. I hope y’all can get it fixed soon, I love this app! ### 2/5 — Mechanics are tedious *2021-11-07* I tried one puzzle. I liked the puzzle & the wit, which is why it gets two stars, but the mechanics of the game are extremely tedious. It only shows one clue at a time. There is no way to mark a blue as ‘Done”. When a True box is marked, it does NOT mark the other boxes in line with it as False. While I would have to mark them on a paper copy, it is exceeding tedious marking little boxes on an iPhone with fat fingers. The Undo failed when I tried it, saying it couldn’t remember my last move. But, I think it was I hit the wrong button by mistake and it wanted to Start the puzzle again. Luckily, it left all previous marks in place. The app itself is just no good. I’ll be deleting it. Try the Dell Logic Puzzles & Grid Logic Puzzles. It’s impossible to play with the them gone. Example: on one of the games called “smoothies, has a clue: Bert is allergic to kiwi. Another clue is: Candice lost less then the person who ate spinach. Are we just supposed to guess which column is the Bert & Candice among the other 3 names on top that are missing? Do not buy additional packs! *2022-11-27, version 1.5.3* This game is unplayable due to the glitch that has been mentioned in almost every review for the past year. This glitch leaves an entire grid with no labels. I had this game installed prior to the glitch and I really enjoyed playing it. It was a nice change to switch to this game after playing some of the other logic puzzles. It’s clear that after a year of complaints this bug will not be fixed. I agree with another reviewer who states that the app should be removed from the App Store. I will also state that the developer is still selling extra packs as an in app purchase. Selling extra packs on an app that doesn’t work should be considered fraud. Apple should immediately remove this from the App Store. ### 1/5 — Words Jumbled Together and Unplayable *2022-08-31, version 1.5.3* I hate to leave a poor review because I really enjoyed the free pack. When I purchased other packs, the words at the top left (column) were stacked on top of each other, resulting in the puzzle being unplayable. At that point, I had purchased all the packs within the app. I went to play it about a year ago and the names / labels for the top left square were not where they were supposed to be. Above the square was blank and all the words were piled on top of each other in the very top left corner. I deleted the app due to not being able to play it but just got it back. I restored my purchases and played 1 puzzle perfectly fine. Later, I went to play another puzzle and the names on the top square had gone back to smushed in the corner and I was again unable to play. I noticed another user having this issue so wanted to add that I’m also experiencing this. The app hasn’t been updated in a long time but I hope something can be done to fix this. After a while an issue arose with the display. The text in the upper left box of the grid was either corrupted or totally missing. At first I was able to resolve the problem by rebooting my device. This process got tiresome after a while. This no longer resolves the problem. I even tried deleting the app then rebooting. This does not resolve the problem either. There are many reviews from users who have encountered this issue, but it remains unresolved. It appears the developers are ignoring the bugs and are no longer supporting this app. I am going to take the same steps- ignore it and and move on to another app that works. ### 2/5 — Needs work *2023-01-09* I kinda enjoyed the game but they need severe improvements. I play lots of these logic games and for some reason, developers just cannot get these games right. It seems so simple but they all struggle. This game is annoying in the fact that once you mark a box as correct/green/check mark that all other corresponding boxes do not automatically get crossed out-any other logic game has that. Also, the grids are too big even for the latest iPhones. One of the BIGGEST issues I discovered after less than 24 hrs owning the game is when I logged in once and the first set of columns didn’t have a header. No Matter what I did, there was no header -I looked at the top left corner and they headers were randomly jumbled on top of each other. This made the game impossible to play being I didn’t know the order of the items in the first few columns. Also, there are some mistakes on the clues. Very bad. I uninstalled and will go back to searching for a good game. ### 2/5 — formatting of top square is off please fix *2022-12-27, version 1.5.3* I see others have added the same comment and if I could, I’d attach a photo of what happens to the formatting of the upper left square top portion of the grid. You can’t do the puzzle with that distortion so I have to continuously delete the app and reload the entire app. Every time I want to return to a puzzle I’m working on.😩 This has been an issue for about a year now and still it has not been fixed. Also noticed that when a pack is completed, it’s not filling the bubble to show it’s done on the pack page. There’s some that are challenging and some that are more relaxing. But recently I have been experiencing a bug where the text at the top of the upper left box disappears. The only way to fix it is to uninstall and reinstall, but whenever I close it and reopen it, the bug is back. The amount of thought, effort and detail put into each game is phenomenal. I feel like every game is a small TV episode and it makes finding out the information even more fun. It’s fun and engaging without being stressful. Love the wit in the design and wording of the puzzles. Please continue to add more packs!! I’d be glad to pay for them! Update: I’ve now tried some other developers’ versions of this game and it has just reinforced the simple elegance of this one. It’s not flashy like some of the others, but the puzzles have a great tongue-in-cheek wit to them and the clues are always sufficient to solve the puzzle, even when you are temporarily stumped. Other similar apps require some guessing or error checking as you solve them. That is not necessary with ANY of these puzzles (even if you believe it to be when you hit a temporary “wall”). It’s really beautifully done. I have just a few puzzles left and I’ll have worked my way (leisurely) through all the packs. I would happily pay for more, but will also be content to go back and rework some I did a year ago. I like to think I’ve gotten more efficient at solving them over time! ### 5/5 — Worth it *2019-02-27* I’ve been playing this app for a few years now and thought I should show some support to the creator. This app is clean and well written. The puzzle are funny and a good challenge. I use them many nights to wind down and get ready for bed. I know when I can no longer understand the clues that it’s time to go to sleep. As long as I’ve used it I haven’t found anything in it that could be improved upon except maybe a little corner grid where you could put the solutions.
