Have now been back and completed any puzzles I only got 1 or 2 stars in and finished every puzzle. I was upset there was no balloons or congratulations for me because I suspect it’s a feat jot many have achieved it took me a lot of time. I love the game otherwise, the customizable dpad/ touch controls are awesome, there’s so many puzzles, and the daily challenges are super fun! It’s just AI opponents meant to increase ad revenue for this game. Had a lot more respect for the creators before they pulled this stunt. ### 1/5 — It stopped working *2020-08-02* I’ve always enjoyed this game and like recent improvements, but it suddenly stopped working. It freezes on the opening screen. Anyone else having that problem? ### 1/5 — Won't stop crashing *2017-09-09, version 1.115.0* Since this new update, which was supposed to fix the crash issue...I haven't been able to play the game at all. It freezes before the countdown is even over. This is horrible. It's worse now than before they did the update to attempt to fix the issue ### 1/5 — Unfortunately unplayable *2014-06-24, version 1.5.6* While this is normally a fairly fun little app - a never ending variety of puzzles with varying difficulties, the advertisements have unfortunately made this game unplayable. They have always cut off the top of the screen so that you sometimes cant see the top number, but that can be worked around. However, now you get kicked out of the app and into the app store for an advertisement that you didnt even see. Within seconds of opening the game, youll find yourself redirected to the app store. The ad on top has nothing to do with it - you dont even have to touch the screen to be redirected. Its not even a one time thing. You can try again and again to go back to your puzzle, but all that will happen is a new app store page will load. If i wanted to play candy crush, i would. I just wanted to play picross in peace. ### 2/5 — Great game.....BUT *2017-04-25, version 1.113.0* I've now had to reinstall this game twice because all of a sudden the screen goes dark (usually after an ad). I've tried waiting a few hours but nothing seems to help. Very disappointing because this is one of the best picross games out there. Can only give it two stars until they fix the bug. ### 2/5 — Fix the bug *2014-09-12, version 1.5.6* The game itself is fantastic. I love picross puzzles, and this one has tons of them. The controls can be a little annoying, but it's workable. What I really hate is that if you click anywhere off the controls, it kicks you to the App Store, even though the ads are at the top of the screen and the controls are at the bottom. It happens at least 4-5 times per game, and often more. If that bug is fixed, this is easily a 4 or 5 star app. ### 2/5 — The ads are ridiculous *2014-07-06, version 1.5.6* I love this game and was considering paying for the full version, but it recently started this ridiculous thing where it randomly opens the App Store. It is extremely frustrating and a pretty dirty way to do business. I won't pay for it just on principle....I refuse to support this type of trickery. If you were that worried about people paying for the app, you should have made a demo. ### 3/5 — Love it *2017-10-30* I love this app but with the current version, it keeps freezing when I reopen the app and sometimes after closing an advertisement, the screen goes black. ### 3/5 — Ads bringing you down? *2014-07-25, version 1.5.6* This game is definitely a top 10 game it's great when trying to kill time, relax, or just having some fun. The 3 stars are because the ads take away from the playing experience. As many before me have written in the middle of the game it abruptly takes you to the App Store and will do so several times throughout game play (annoyingly). Fix that and this would be a five star game to me! ### 3/5 — Good Nonograms - poor zooming *2013-01-24, version 1.4.7* This has the potential to be a great app, But once you get to the 15x15 and higher it becomes extremely difficult to see the numbers and spaces and work the puzzle. Perhaps if it could be turned horizontal that could make it larger. I really like the v-pad mode. Something about clicking square by square is deeply satisfying. They keep adding more puzzles and if I ever manage to catch up to all of them, I go back and challenge myself to get 3 stars on the ones I missed.
