LogMus has been updated, with a focus on the new Support the Developer option and usability improvements.

New: Support the Developer
- You can now support the development of LogMus from "Support the Developer" under About in Settings. Supporting it doesn't change any features
- Supporters will see a small heart next to "Support the Developer" in Settings

Improvements
- The back button on screens opened from Settings now consistently shows "Settings"
- Swipe right from the left edge of the screen to go back to the previous screen
- On Apple Watch, the Done button is easier to tap when picking weight or reps with the wheel

Fixes
- Fixed an issue where, if the app closed during a rest on Apple Watch, it could reopen at the body part list. It now returns to the exercise you were logging

Thanks for using LogMus! We're always working to make your training log better.

### v2.3.0 — 2026-10-18

LogMus has been updated, with a focus on automatic exports with Shortcuts and new explosive exercises.

New: Automatic Exports with Shortcuts (Beta)
- The Shortcuts app, free from Apple, now has an action that exports your LogMus records. Choose the format (CSV or JSON) and the range (Since Last Export, Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, Last Month, or All Time)
- Set up an automation to export automatically on a set day and time each week, without opening the app. Files are saved anywhere that appears in the Files app, such as iCloud Drive or Google Drive
- Tap "Add Shortcut" on the Export Data screen to add a ready-to-use shortcut
- The How to Guide has a new Chapter 7, "Automatic Export," with step-by-step screenshots of the setup

New: Explosive Exercises
- Added 10 explosive exercises to the presets: Power Clean, Hang Clean, Power Snatch, and Clean and Jerk under Back; Push Press under Shoulders; Medicine Ball Slam under Abs; and Jump Squat, Box Jump, Kettlebell Swing, and Burpee under Legs. You can log them on Apple Watch, too
- The exercise picker now has an "Explosive" filter that shows only the explosive exercises for that body part
- How-to guides for the new exercises will come in a future update

New: Share with Friends
- "Share LogMus with Friends" is now under About in Settings. Send LogMus's App Store page in a snap through LINE, X, and more

Improvements
- Exporting your data is now much faster, even with lots of records
- Moved the items under Support in Settings into About, so "Rate on App Store" no longer appears twice
- Rest timer settings now have their own screen under "Rest Timer" in Settings, where you can set up Apple Watch and iPhone & iPad in one place

Fixes
- Fixed the date in the note title not updating when you changed the start date in Export Data

- Besides the calendar layout, streaks and the Monthly Summary now split weeks by the day you choose

New: Update Notice

Improvements
- Made the app much smaller. Tutorial and How to Guide videos look the same
- Streaks in Training Frequency under Analytics are now weekly, matching the Home screen
- "This Week" summaries in Analytics actually cover the last 7 days, so they're now labeled "Last 7 Days"
- The Training Frequency heatmap now lines up each column with the day your week starts

Improvements
- The Lock Screen and Dynamic Island now show "Rest complete" once your rest time is up

New: "In Order" View for Daily Details
- Daily details, opened from the Calendar, now have a "By Exercise | In Order" switch. In Order shows the day's records in the order you logged them
- Even on days you went back and forth between exercises, you can see exactly what you did and when. Cardio is mixed into the timeline, too
- Tap "Edit" while viewing In Order to drag records into a different order
- LogMus remembers the view you chose last and opens with it next time

New: Type In Weight and Reps
- On the set log screen, you can still scroll the weight and reps numbers, or now double-tap them to type a value in with the number keypad
- Typed values are rounded to ones you can pick on the set log screen, such as 0.5 kg steps

Improvements
- Made the "Weight", "Reps", "Spotter Assist", "Drop Set", and "Assist from rep" labels on the set log screen larger and easier to read
- Records added later with "Add" in daily details now appear in the order you entered them
