## What is LogPlan?

LogPlan turns a log into a cutting plan. Scan the log ends with your phone — and it lays out every cut, every rotation, every board, with the exact height settings for your mill.

Built for small sawmills and the people who run them, it follows the wood the whole way: from the log in the woods to the dry board on the shelf.

HARVEST
Register logs where they fall. Use the phone camera to scan the log ends and it will automatically read dimensions, detect pith and log length, and create a thumbprint of the log for later identification at the mill.

SAWMILL
Load a log, add your board dimensions, and LogPlan works out the rest — then walks you through the cut sequence one pass at a time. Mill height settings in millimetres/inches and "clicks" (if supported by the mill) for adjustments between cuts. Both chain mills and band mills supported.

DRYING YARD
Stack your boards and track them as they dry. LogPlan forecasts the moisture curve for each stack from real climate data, and pins every group to its spot in the yard, so you know what's where and when it's ready. No labels stapled to the wood — point your phone at the pile and a tag floats over each board group, showing its live moisture and drying curve right where the boards sit. Mixed dimensions in one stack each get their own.

LogPlan is free to plan cuts for manually entered dimensions. Sawmill Starter and Sawmill Pro unlock measuring logs with your phone, saved logs, harvest registration, drying tracking and more.
