### 4/5 — Works well for me

*2026-06-25, version 2026.1.7*

Reports make applications very easy. I trust it with all my hard earned hours.

### 2/5 — sync got worse

*2026-04-20, version 2026.1.4*

fix it jeez

### 1/5 — HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

*2026-03-23, version 2026.1.4*

I’ve been trying so switch accounts for 3 weeks in a row and no agent has contacted me in any way shape or form to help me with my issue, don’t know what to do, at this point I feel like I’v lost all my data and no one answers. I’ve any body actually reads these reviews check them all out because LOGTEN’s customer service SUCKS!!

### 1/5 — Import service doesn’t work as advertised

*2026-03-17, version 2026.1.3*

One of the main reasons I upgraded was the promise that LogTen would import my airline schedule and flight data. Unfortunately, the import process has been unreliable, inconsistent, and in my case, simply not performed. The website and support documentation describe an import service that doesn’t match the reality of what users receive.

Support initially told me imports would be handled monthly, then quarterly, and eventually said they could not import my file at all—despite it being the same format they previously accepted. Each response contradicted the last, and no clear explanation or solution was provided.

For an app at this price point, the import feature should work as advertised or at least be supported consistently. Instead, I’ve spent more time trying to get basic functionality than actually logging flights. If you’re subscribing specifically for the import service, be aware that it may not be delivered.

### 1/5 — Misleading features, broken imports, and no meaningful support

*2026-03-16, version 2026.1.3*

I purchased LogTen based on the advertised features and airline integrations, but the actual product doesn’t match what’s promoted. The import/export system is unreliable, inconsistent, and fails on basic data validation. Even simple roster imports require constant manual correction, and the app behaves unpredictably with larger datasets. Several features listed on their website either don’t work as described or are missing entirely.

Support responses are slow and often contradict their own documentation. When issues are escalated, the answers shift depending on who replies, and there’s no clear resolution path. After discovering these problems, I attempted to request a refund through Apple, but LogTen’s support insisted everything was working “as intended” despite clear evidence to the contrary.

If you’re expecting a stable, professional-grade logbook with reliable airline integrations, be cautious. The marketing doesn’t reflect the actual product experience, and once you subscribe, there’s no practical recourse when the app fails to deliver.

### 3/5 — Manual Sync

*2026-03-16, version 2026.1.3*

I really wish there was an easy accessible sync button. When I get home after a weeks trip I have to open and close the app about 3 times to have all the hours sync from my iPhone to iPad.

Almost every update supposedly improves the automatic sync but it never does. Just add an easy accessible sync button for when the automatic sync is lagging.

### 1/5 — Lazy

*2026-03-16, version 2026.1.3*

I had to buy a brand new Samsung S26 Ultra just to find that there’s no support for android? Ridiculously lazy. Won’t be renewing my subscription if I can’t even use it, which is just so dissapointing.

### 3/5 — Smart Group not showing after new update - Widget IPhone

*2026-03-13*

After the last update the widget for smart groups stopped working

### 1/5 — Repeat crashes and hours of waiting for help

*2026-03-12, version 2026.1.3*

App was working fine until I tried to edit entries today and then proceeded to crash repeatedly with no way to log in. Basically useless now and may force me to cancel my subscription if this isn’t resolved ASAP.

### 2/5 — Will not count flight hours

*2026-03-05, version 2026.1.2*

The app will import flights from fcview, that’s great. But it is not increasing my total time. I’m going to have to go back in and count up my flights to update logs which was the the whole point of a digital logbook. The only reason is not one star is because of it linking to fcview

### 2/5 — Newest update not good!

*2026-03-01, version 2026.1.2*

What happened to the airports I have flown to in the past? It used to be I could click on the “From” or “To” field, and it would bring up the most recent 5 or so, followed by all others I have flown to in alphabetical order. Now that list is a jumbled mess. Put it back in order, please.

### 1/5 — Latest update breaks the app.

*2026-02-17, version 2026.1*

After years as a satisfied paying customer, including as an original beta tester, I am sad to say that the LogTen Pro is unusable for me after its last update. Upon launch, the app hangs on the splash screen, reading, “Loading… Authenticating… “ for up to two minutes or more, sometimes requiring a swipe to close and relaunch. It seems the app attempts to connect to the Internet before allowing a flight to be logged. If this is the case, the app is now useless. As an Alaskan bush pilot, I am almost never connected when I log flights.

### 1/5 — Latests update flaw.

*2026-02-15, version 2026.1*

App will not open up when in Airplane mode!

### 1/5 — Latest version needs internet

*2026-02-13, version 2026.1*

Latest version keeps getting stuck at an authentication page, won’t move past that page if there is no internet, eg if you are in flight…

### 1/5 — Misleading import policy

*2026-02-11, version 2026.1*

I’ve been a LogTen user for years, and the product itself is fine, but the customer service and data‑import policy have gone downhill. LogTen advertises complimentary import assistance and scheduled importing for supported airlines, yet when I actually requested the service, I was told it was only a “best‑effort courtesy” and limited to “initial setup” or “large migrations.” None of that is stated anywhere on their website or in their marketing.

I provided complete, clean data and was still told to enter everything manually—despite the fact that this exact service was previously offered and even promised as part of my subscription. Instead of honoring what they advertise, they keep shifting the explanation depending on who responds.

If you’re expecting reliable import support or ongoing schedule imports, be careful. The features they promote don’t match the service they actually provide, and getting a straight answer is frustrating. For the price, I expected transparency and consistency, not moving goalposts.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Waste of money

*2026-07-13, version 2026.1.8*

Expensive subscription for an app that is essentially not functional for any of the advanced features that I was hopeful to utilize. Works great for doing any of the functions that are cheaper or free on many other platforms.

### 1/5 — Lost all data

*2026-07-08, version 2026.1.8*

Upgraded to the new version, my logbook was on the device and it deleted everything. Now support won’t even contact me 48hours after raising a ticket. Awful

### 1/5 — No control over my logbook

*2026-07-01, version 2026.1.8*

There is no web interface, so you don’t have control to go online and make changes to your logbook, look at the big picture, or make simple edits to your logbook. The only way to do it is through customer service, and they are just horrible. Seriously, google their reputation. They take weeks to get back to you, and they don’t provide any helpful actions.

### 1/5 — Can’t be trusted anymore.

*2026-06-19, version 2026.1.7*

I have also experienced the syncing issues, and random inability to access the app that others have mentioned. Recently, LogTen threw me a new curveball when they arbitrarily decided to invalidate over 6000 hours of 737 time. I had used a generic “B-737” designator for probably a decade without issue. It generated accurate reports, did correct math, and categorized it properly as a “turbofan”. Cool.

One day I logged in and discovered all my 737 time was now categorized as “??”. Upon querying, I was told LogTen needed “accurate aircraft type information to work properly”. I guess I must have imagined all of the times it worked properly before? I wound up having to go through over 300 tail numbers to recategorize them into one of their preloaded categories as either a 737-800 or 737-MAX8.

I don’t think LogTen truly understands the gravity of the responsibility they are being entrusted with. Our logbooks are our lives, and our careers, and they can’t just arbitrarily decide whether our entries are valid or not. As a pilot, the validity, accuracy, and honesty of my entries are solely my responsibility. LogTen’s responsibility is to do the math accurately, and nothing more. If I want to fraudulently log Space Shuttle, Concorde, and SR-71 time, I am the one who has to deal with the fallout, not them. They just have to add up the numbers.

The last few months, the app has been getting more unstable, less accessible, and less reliable, and LogTen’s latest actions have forced me to make the difficult decision to terminate my subscription with them. I shouldn’t have to cross my fingers, hold my breath, and hope that I everything is still as I left it, or that I can even get into the app for that matter. Aspiring career pilots should think very carefully about whom they entrust their data to. I know LogTen will try to downplay my concerns, but the point is, there should never, under any circumstances, be a time where anything in my logbook is changed without my specific input and approval.

### 1/5 — Random discrepancies between devices

*2026-06-08, version 2026.1.7*

Same issues years later. When saving a backup it records the correct number of flights with the incorrect number of hours. When combing through 1500 entries it turns out it arbitrarily drops a leg (easy to spot) or changes a leg time (eg. 7.3-4.3, not easy to spot and requires a second logbook to reconcile). In other words, don’t get rid of that paper logbook folks.

### 1/5 — I would not recommend anyone to buy this - personal opinion

*2026-05-19, version 2026.1.7*

All of a sudden the app stopped working says loading… syncing logbook from cloud. It happened on all devices that has access to my logbook (phone and iPad). Tried every troubleshooting step, didn’t work and tried contacting support no response from them for 5 hours now and no phone number to call. Very unresponsive even with the urgency mentioned in the email. Some reviews said people logbooks were reset. I cannot confirm that as I cannot login and a subscriber.

### 1/5 — Way buggy and it always freezes in sync

*2026-05-17, version 2026.1.7*

The sync function never works and it doesn’t add up your hours correctly. About once a month it gets stuck on the losing page when you first open the app and won’t get past it. It takes a few weeks of losing for the app to start working again.

### 1/5 — Scammed

*2026-05-10, version 2026.1.7*

I selected the 3 month trial and was charged after 7 days… before I could even try to export my current logbook over (not possible without owning a MAC) they quickly charged me $130. No phone numbers for support or billing. A nightmare out of the gates.

### 1/5 — Lost all my data, how the mighty have fallen

*2026-04-24, version 2026.1.6*

What once was the best eLogbook, has now caused all my data to be lost, FOR THE SECOND TIME. A few years ago I could not have praised this logbook and Coradine enough. I knew it was a company I could trust, always backed by a support team willing to go the extra mile (Thomas and David helped me land a job at Virgin!), THAT alone was worth the premium subscription. Unsure what’s happened over the last 2-3 years but it’s stagnant, no new features announced (sign my export, which ALL competitors do, and a silly Careers tab that can’t be used outside the US, so why show me it!). I’ve been waiting 3 years for a few new airports and one aircraft to be added to the database, cmon! Now the app is unreliable, it won’t open half the time, and last week all my data was lost. Support is basically AI, (or agents that sound like it and just don’t care). No new features, no support, why am I paying a subscription? Every person I’ve flown with that uses LogTen says the same thing. Time to move to Logger, cheerio!

### 1/5 — Lost logbook

*2026-04-22, version 2026.1.4*

They seem to have lost my logbook, the app will not even load, and the support team has stopped responding after only a few messages. Maybe it’s a rarity, but not worth the risk for career pilots.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Best Logbook Out There

*2026-06-03, version 2026.1.7*

I recently switched over from ForeFlight, and it’s a night and day difference. There is a learning curve, which you can learn from reading their helpful support articles, but once you learn it, LogTen is the most intuitive logbook out there. Definitely keeping LogTen for my pilot career!

### 5/5 — Love it

*2026-05-05, version 2026.1.7*

Easy to understand and navigate. I just wish it wasn’t treat easy to swipe to delete verified logs as compared to unverified logs.
But that’s least of any problem. I still love it.

### 5/5 — HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

*2026-04-16, version 2026.1.4*

The APP it self is simply amazing, however the customer service S U C K S!!!I’ve been trying so switch accounts for 3 weeks in a row and no agent has contacted me in any way shape or form to help me with my issue, don’t know what to do, at this point I feel like I’ve lost all my data and no one answers. I’ve any body actually reads these reviews check them all out because LOGTEN’s customer service SUCKS!!

### 5/5 — Missing Aircraft Types

*2026-04-06, version 2026.1.4*

Need to do an update and add all recent models.

### 5/5 — Chinese charecter bug report

*2026-02-11, version 2026.1*

When pilot name is in Chinese characters, there is no creat new pilot option generated.

### 5/5 — Simply amazing

*2025-10-31, version 2025.3.3*

Amazing app and I can’t speak any more highly of the support. I had a slight issue with my login and support was extremely efficient and communicative. The app works flawlessly and integrates fantastically into iOS & Mac. Highly recommended Logbook app which is far superior to other alternatives.

### 5/5 — Great Product

*2025-07-06, version 2025.1*

I continue to be impressed with the functionality and capability of LogTen Pilot Logbook. Thank you for a great product and great product support. I recently induced an error that messed up my entire logbook on crew position. The tech support team was able to fix it for me and now all is well.

### 5/5 — Quality is always worthwhile

*2025-06-22, version 2025.1*

In aviation, you can’t skimp on training or maintenance. Same applies to your personal aviation documentation and records. With LogTen my flight and sim time is easily maintained and securely synced across all my devices.

### 5/5 — Fits Every Skill Level

*2025-06-22, version 2025.1*

I’ve been a LogTen user for 15+ years. I’m now a Captain at a Legacy airline and I still use LogTen each leg, each trip. Conform the content to you and make logging your flight time, creating sign-offs, and building your career, one flight at a time. Or take advantage of another huge bonus and look into having the LogTen crew help you with all those back-logged green pages, converting them into your electronic logbook. There’s is a cost to that of course but for some it may be money well spent.

### 5/5 — Great pilot product

*2025-06-13, version 2025.1*

Great flexible and comprehensive logbook. I think all forms of flying and logging are accounted for. Appreciate the export capabilities. Well done!!!
