### 3/5 — Great tool but...

*2014-08-05*

My only but serious disappointment is the near impossibility to work in windows (PC) environment... For my personal use I often have to create a custom report. It took a while to get it from a text file then import this text file to an Excel worksheet and finally play with filters and formulas!

### 4/5 — Loose the paper!

*2014-02-20*

Great app. Works well and you don't necessarily need all the versions (iPad only for me). It backs up automatically.

Ditch the paper logbook!

### 4/5 — LogTenPro

*2013-09-17, version 6.0.13*

Yes, it seems like it is primarily designed for pros. As a private pilot I would like to have fewer choices or to be able to eliminate the choices I don't need. But in general, once I figured out the important pieces it works RELIABLE and syncs well with my iPad. Expensive but again it is reliable.

### 4/5 — Works well

*2013-08-16*

Works well as a logbook replacement. Generates very nice logbook summaries in case you have a job interview coming up etc.

My only gripe with this app is the lack of backup facilities for people who don't own a bunch of apple devices (eg iMac, iPhone etc). Needs cloud support at least so you can backup somewhere! I would give 5 stars if this feature was supported. Until then don't lose/break your iPad.

### 4/5 — Great for every Pilot

*2013-08-09, version 6.0.13*

I'm a student pilot and I use ForeFlight to help plan my flights and I love that I can transfer the flight plan right into Log10. Especially the long XC flights that have so many airports and I don't have to remember which order I flew them. It works great as a backup to the paper book. I can't seem to get my instructor to buy into signing my endorsements on it but I know one day he'll give in as the aviation industry is quickly moving into the digital age.

I don't have an iPhone but I like that I can backup my logs on my computer every time I connect to my iTunes on my PC. It's easy if you have your iPad auto link to iTunes when connected to your wifi.

Overall, can't say anything negative about this app. I gave it 4 stars only because I haven't used every feature yet as I'm still a student.

### 4/5 — Great

*2013-07-04, version 6.0.13*

I've been using LogTen since the first version came out on the Mac. I love the app and they are great for all different flying types. My only complaint is that it is a bit pricey to stay up to date on the applications over the years. It would be great if they had a better price point for users that update to the newer versions.

### 5/5 — Quality App!

*2013-06-25*

Ever since I started airline flying, my paper logbook just seemed too limited. With this app, it's so easy to log numerous flights without your hand hurting especially on those 4 sector days... Plus with the smart groups I can keep track of not only total hours but also how many hours have I done with which airline on on what type. Buy it now, you won't regret it.

### 5/5 — Writing up the logbook is a delight

*2013-06-14*

Excellent software across all the platforms and works seamlessly with the Mac, iPhone and iPad. First rate support from the team and always appear to be open to suggestions. Would be great to see some of the recommended changes in the new releases. Look forward to version 7.

### 5/5 — Log ten pro

*2013-05-19, version 6.0.13*

Log ten pro is an efficient way to keep up my flight log. I can enter time in my iPhone,iPad or iMac and sync them all up. Support has been good as well I recommend log ten pro whole-heartedly.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2013-05-04*

It took me 18 months to plug in 20 years of commercial flying. Well worth the effort, but not strictly necessary, personally I really wanted individual flights and not blocks.

It's not cheap, but well worth it.

Integration with roster buster and the Emirates roster makes it so simple.

### 4/5 — Good app

*2013-04-12*

Good app, but occasionally buggy!
Would be better if there was a website, where you could back up the data online. Considering the important nature of information used.

### 3/5 — Unable to load Data!

*2013-04-08*

This app has many bugs for the price that was paid… Keyboard sometimes won't hide. Data fields occasionally fail and don't allow data entry. Also annoyed that I paid the price for my app which now includes the iPhone version and I would have to buy again to have this benefit. Having paid the full price for the Mac version too I think this enterprise needs to be quicker and better at improving the product.

The latest version 6.0.12 is more bug ridden than previous. Now my iPad will not sync 'people' with my MAC version. All people have disappeared and I cannot add or edit people on the iPad. They are all missing and I get an error. "Unable to load data!"

I have deleted the app and reinstalled, before trying another sync and I still have the same issue. My Mac version still works and has all the people stored correctly.

Please fix this app ASAP. I need to be able to rely on this app for work or I will be forced to consider a more reliable electronic logbook. A lot of money invested already please do not disappoint.

### 5/5 — Brilliant App

*2013-03-29*

Fully connected App. Synchronises easily with my main database on my mac. Easy to set up custom Smart Groups to keep close eye on data of interest.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Poor support, FAA examiner rejected log

*2014-09-07, version 6.5.1*

Update 9/7:Promises, promises, promises .... A few days after this posting I was contacted, and was told engineering will fix the report to show the approaches. 2 months and still nothing, when all it takes it is just no more than 2 hrs to fix the report. Their recommendation was to buy the mac $99 product which allows the custom report generation, and when I asked for a trial, they said we are not setup with app store for this, not even a discount/credit! A reputable business should take care of their customers...
Org posting 7/18: I took my IFR checkride last week. This app has been reviewed and advertised as a logbook replacing the paperback. Upon printing a report of the log from my ipad which in fact is advertised to go in a $35 binder, examiner did not accept it because critical information was cut, ex: one approach and not the required 3 and holdings, etc was not printed. Luckily, I had my CFI there and he had to redline it and sign it. It has been now 3 days since I posted in their support assistance on the reports and also sent them email, no response yet.

### 1/5 — Buggy, overpriced, junk

*2014-07-16, version 6.5.1*

The syncing functionality is broken, regardless of how you choose to sync. Their "support" is non-existent, and after following their guidance I lost the primary logbook copy. There are other issues, and it seems there is little motivation for them to address them. A complete mess.

### 1/5 — What a mess

*2014-03-12, version 6.5.1*

Wow, these guys really take the biscuit. So I am now buying yet another full version of their software (already overpriced) on my iPad. This is at least the third time I have bought their software on the iPad. What is extraordinary is that I also have to re-buy the software on my Mac and iPhone. Seriously!!!! What is worse is that the upgrade process has muddled up the older version of the logbook stored on the mac with the newer version stored on the iPad.

I have been a longstanding user of this company’s software (despite having had a total loss of a logbook many years ago when I upgraded my first iPad). Sadly, their software seems to be the best solution on the market, but that is not saying much. The field is hopelessly poorly serviced and thus Coradine have really got an easy time of it here. Can somebody else please please write a decent competitive logbook and give these people a real run for their money.

Buyer Beware!

### 1/5 — Poor after sales

*2013-06-25*

Really disappointed in the level of customer care, replays to emails where slow at first and them stopped completely.

### 1/5 — Syncing issues and lack of support

*2013-03-22, version 6.0.11*

I want to like this app, and overall it has very good potential yet as a heavy user of the software I am tired of having to redo my work after syncing. Example: future turns to Japan and Hawaii entered and synced between my Mac and iPad. Data then entered on the Mac. Upon syncing, sometimes the date will be changed, sometimes a box will be unchecked. Usually takes several syncs to get it right. Why doesn't the last change take precedence ? I just can't be bothered, and that leads to the next major issue - customer service seems under staffed. You will never get phone help and good luck trying to explain stuff via email. Ive even tried live chat via iMessage under the suggestion we could screen share, but that feature didn't work. This is the only company i know of that just will not offer phone support. Third issue, if your a Mac retina user you won't get the nice suggestion boxes to appear as you type a city pair or a registration number or crew member name...
I'm going to give this another year only because I've invested so much entering all my flight time into this program, but I've grown weary of re-typing after syncing and can only hope the tech dept listens.

### 1/5 — Initial problems but working well now

*2011-12-20*

I initially had problems with this app crashing repeatedly. Part of the problem was the way i was inputting times and partly due to a bug. However I must say that their email support is first class and after some modifications to the settings i am up and running. The app is very comprehensive and seems to it the bill for what i need.

### 1/5 — Definitely not worth the upgrade from LTP5

*2011-12-16, version 6.0.1*

I always like being on the leading edge of new technology, but I feel very unsatisfied with the latest version to LTP. The user interface is no different on the iPad or iPhone from the previous version. The major updates of a digital signature and visual limits are gimmicky. The biggest disappointment is the lack of cloud support that was so highly advertised. I hope the cloud comes soon. I am a big fan of LogTen as a whole and love the product but VERY disappointed with the new update. Even with 50% off it is not worth the money at all. Do not buy!!

### 1/5 — Stick with Paper

*2011-10-17, version 1.3.1*

I used the program for a while. It can do some good stuff for you if you can figure it out. It is not the easiest app to use. The after backing up and switching to IOS5, the entire program was lost, as well as all the data and my $80. I was unable to recover even after having backed it up. So if you intend to use this program, good luck, and make sure you back up with with your paper logbook, or if you just want to do the work once, just use your paper logbook.

The program never did total flights correctly on the omits and currency pages anyway, you had to select those, and look in the columns on the right to see what the totals really were. Some totals we different colors where no color coding was supposed to be present as far as I could tell. Crashed often when looking for airports.

Stick with paper, save your money, and save your time (which is like saving more money).

### 2/5 — IOS 8.02

*2014-10-09, version 6.5.1*

Since I upgraded to IOS 8.02 I have not been able to sync my logbook on my iPad with my MacBook Pro. Otherwise I must say that I love the app. It is user friendly and works really great.

### 2/5 — Too knunky and busy

*2013-08-16, version 6.0.13*

I have tried to learn and use the app, but it is just to overworked. It always seem to try to do too much for you and is to excessive. I want something that looks like a logbook. It shuts down periodically. I wish I hadn't paid for it. I'm off to find something else. I suspect I'll end up using a spreadsheet program. Like it tries to do everything, but there is no easy way to track tail wheel time, no simple logbook view with running totals at the bottom of the page. I give up...

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great App

*2014-02-27, version 6.5.1*

I love this app! Really easy to track your currency's and total time. Logging time is quick and easy! Just one request, have a count down for ATP/restricted ATP.

### 5/5 — Great Product

*2014-02-21, version 6.5.1*

I am using this logbook for quite a few years now. I had another product for windows before and can only endorse logten pro - a much superior experience. I am an airline pilot and this is the best logbook for me!!

### 5/5 — Top Notch

*2014-02-19, version 6.5.1*

I have kept an electronic logbook for years and this is the best one I have seen yet. I own the iphone/ ipad/ and Mac version. These all now sync through the cloud and it is awesome. Not like another program I know of that you have to pay a fee to sync wirelessly. If your in need of a program to keep track of your flight time this is it!

### 5/5 — New cfi loving the app

*2014-01-15, version 6.0.14*

I went back and logged all my training which was painful but ever since I started teaching i've been using this app and it works quite well.

### 5/5 — Fantastic app

*2013-12-05, version 6.0.14*

I have been using the app for just over two years now. It is fantastic. The app makes it so easy to determine how many hours of a certain type I have flown in x days for insurance purposes. It also makes it easy to check currency. I highly recommend it.

### 5/5 — Absolutely indispensable!

*2013-10-31, version 6.0.14*

I bought LogTen Pro to convert my jumbled mass of military flight records into a standard logbook format, ensuring that it was completely neat and presentable, and knowing that every column added up correctly. I couldn't be happier with the product I created, and I landed my first regional job on the first try! I continue to use LogTen Pro as an active airline pilot, to keep my logbook up-to-date and ready to impress, when the time comes for my interview at a major!

### 5/5 — Great App

*2013-09-22, version 6.0.13*

Wonderful having an electronic logbook. My instructor and I can report everything were doing in an easy way.

### 5/5 — Log Ten Pro

*2013-09-03, version 6.0.13*

If you use Mac and have a complex flight history, this program is for you. I went from spreadsheets, to Logbook Pro, to this program. Interfaces easily between and among Apple devices such as as iPhone, iPad and Mac. Customizable search criteria to quickly locate data other programs lack. For example, night landings as PIC in multi-engine. Creates standardized reports or customizable reports. Recommended for the professional pilot. Probably overkill for someone without extensive flight history.

### 5/5 — Love it

*2013-07-10, version 6.0.13*

When I was thinking about buying this app the only thing that was holding me back was the backup feeture. When i started using it i found out that backing up was super easy wia your email.

All the summarys are really good and if you want to keep a hard copy of your logbook is easy to print it in any logbook format. Looks very professional for interviews etc.

Would recommend to a friend, buy it sooner than later because it is going to take time to put in all your hours but it is worth it!

### 5/5 — Great logbook

*2013-07-09, version 6.0.13*

I've been using LogTen for a few years and it works great. Easy to use and sync with your airline schedule!
