## What is LogTree?

LogTree: The 100% offline, privacy-first life logger.

Whether you are tracking a newborn’s sleep, your aquarium’s water parameters, or your secret quest for the city’s best croissant, LogTree handles it all with ease, no cloud delays, or unnecessary judgment.

PLACES: YOUR LIFE, ON A MAP
Stop trying to remember which park you visited last Tuesday. Our new Places feature lets you tag logs with locations, save your "Frequent Haunts," and visualize your journey on a private map. It’s all the convenience of a check-in app with none of the "selling your data to advertisers" creepiness.

ULTIMATE TRACKING FREEDOM
We finally realized our pre-set categories couldn't cover your specific need to track "Daily Sighs" or "Lukewarm Coffee Temps," so we handed you the keys. Create custom logs for anything using specialized types: weight, volume, rating, percentage, temperature, and a "free-form" type for the true rebels.

ONE APP, INFINITE USES:

For Hobbyists: Track aquarium pH, nitrate, or gardening fertilizer dates. Our widgets will stop lying about you "never" watering your plants.

For New Parents: Log breastfeeding (with timers), bottle feeds, and diapers. Your family data stays on your device, because the cloud doesn't need to know your baby’s schedule.

For Habit Builders: Track Yes/No habits, Quantities, or Durations. Watch retro progress bars fill up as you smash your goals (or at least try to).

THE "RETRO" EXPERIENCE
Inspired by classic DOS file managers (XTree Gold). No ads. No tracking. No bloat. No nonsense.

POWERFUL FEATURES:

Secure: Lock sensitive folders (Finance, Health, Places) with a PIN or FaceID.

Smart Input: Remembers your last entry for 1-tap logging.

Stopwatch Support: Run persistent timers for any category or custom log.

iCloud Sync: Backup to your private iCloud. We can't see your data, and we honestly don't want to.

### 4/5 — books!

*2025-08-29*

Can we please have books in entertainment section? Many people read them ya know

Also aquarium is super cool but we need plants too!

**Developer response:** Hello!

Thank you for your feedback. We just released an update (1.7.4) and added a Books option for Entertainment.

Please update your app to be able to access the new options!

### 4/5 — Money saver!

*2025-07-22*

Honestly the best app I’ve found for tracking multiple things at once. No account signup needed, and it’s super straightforward; Can’t recọmmend it enough!

### 5/5 — Good, but missing a few things

*2025-07-22*

Good app, really helps reduce clutter on my home screen. Only downside is there’s no real way to see trends or insights easily. If they add that, it’d be perfect.

### 5/5 — Exactly what I needed

*2025-07-17*

Finally an app that logs almost anything. I track my fish tank water quality and workouts in the same place. So far it’s been super reliable. Love the offline feature.

### 5/5 — Love the vibe

*2025-07-05*

The app feels like it was made with real care. It’s clean, quick, and doesn’t shove subscriptions in your face. I reached out with a question and got a super helpful reply. Feels like software from the good ol’ days

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2025-07-04*

The categories are really well thought-out, and I like that I can set up different folders for different parts of my life. It keeps me organised without being overwhelming. Would love to see custom categories someday

### 4/5 — Best app for new parents

This app has made tracking my baby’s feeds so much easier. I can quickly note which side I breastfed on, or how much formula was given. It’s one less thing to worry about when life is already chaotic

### 5/5 — Perfect for teachers

*2025-07-03*

This app has streamlined how I track my classroom. The education features are fantastic. I can quickly log attendance, grades, and notes all in one spot. It’s intuitive, secure, and saves me so much time. Highly recọmmend

### 4/5 — One app does it all

*2025-07-02*

I don’t need five different apps to track habits, workouts, my plants, and everything else. LogTree handles it all effortlessly. Love the retro vibes, and the developer clearly listens to users—frequent, thoughtful updates!

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.0.1 - Notification Fix — 2026-08-14

Fixed an issue where deleting a Habit folder or individual habit caused notifications for deleted habits to still hang around. Ghostly.
When deleting a habit folder, all related notifications will also be deleted
Additional redundancy to check and delete, in the event the Notification assassin misses (however unlikely)

### 2.0.0 - Import Export — 2026-05-06

Ah we're finally at the oft overused "2.0" to denote something big, something fresh. Wellllll....we'd hate to disappoint you, so we did do something big, and something fresh.
We did a large overhaul of the UI, we've graduated from 90s dos PC to futuristic terminal interface you'd only see in Sci-fi movies.
Hope you like it, because we do.

Oh and another thing, we add Imports and Exports. Yes you heard that right, now you can export your data to CSV, and Import data!

### 1.9.2 - Millions of Places, Places for me. — 2026-03-05

Introducing Places: Tag your logs with locations! Create a map of your life, track your favorite hangouts, and see exactly where you were when you decided that third taco was a "good idea."

Location Privacy: Your GPS data stays on your phone. We have no idea where you are, and frankly, we’re happy to keep it that way.
Visual History: Check out the new Map view for your logs. It’s like a travel diary, but for people who actually like privacy.

### 1.9.1 — 2026-02-12

Edit Custom Categories (For the Indecisive) Realized that your "Water Intake" log was actually just "Coffee Intake"? You can now edit your custom categories. Rename them, change the icons, do whatever. We fully support your changing narrative.

Navigation Fixes We squashed some bugs that made navigating the app feel like a maze. Getting lost in your own data is poetic, but mostly just annoying. It’s fixed now.

### 1.9.0 - FREEEEEEDOM — 2026-02-09

Custom Logs (Because we know you're high maintenance)

We finally realised that our pre-set categories probably didn't cover your very specific need to track "Number of Times I Sighed Today" or "Temperature of My Lukewarm Coffee," so we’ve basically handed you the keys to the kingdom.

You can now freely create log categories for pretty much anything—weight, volume, ratings, percentages, and even a "free-form" type for the true rebels.
We’ve added a fancy new accordion interface to make picking units less of a chore, a history view so you can reflect on your data-driven life, and even chart visualisations (because everything looks more official as a line graph).

We added a Category Library to prevent you from creating twelve different versions of the same log. It’s flexible, it’s powerful, and it’s finally here—now go track something weird.

Also in this update:

The Great Identity Crisis: Added a toggle button so you can flip between "Log View" and "Journal View" whenever you can’t decide if you’re a data scientist or a poet.

GardenWidget Amnesia: Fixed the gardening widget. It used to claim you "never" watered your plants, which was either a bug or a very passive-aggressive judgment on your parenting. It now properly shows the last watering or fertilisation date.

Habit Deletion (Minus the Drama): Fixed a bug where trying to delete a habit folder would crash the app. We’ve safely unwrapped our values, so you can now delete your failed habits without the app having a total meltdown.
