## What is LohnTicker?

LohnTicker shows you what you are earning right now. Clock in and watch your pay grow live, with the tax-free premiums for Sunday, public holiday and night work already included.

Built for shift work in care, production, logistics and hospitality.

HOW IT WORKS
• Clock in and out, also with Siri or a Shortcut; enter breaks by hand or let the app estimate the statutory minimum rest break.
• Live ticker with running gross and estimated net pay.
• Sunday, holiday and night premiums per § 3b of the German Income Tax Act, calculated tax-free.
• Expected monthly net that you put together yourself: show or hide planned shifts, vacation, sick leave, bonus and reimbursements.
• Daily and monthly overview of what adds up and what comes off.

HONEST NUMBERS
LohnTicker uses the official 2026 figures (income tax per the German Federal Ministry of Finance calculation scheme, social contributions, § 3b). The net figure in the ticker is an estimate for the live feel, not a replacement for your payslip. Always check your numbers against your employer's statement.

SHIFT ROSTER
Plan your shifts ahead. Build the roster for a whole month from your templates, as a fixed week or a rolling rotation (week by week too), or extend your most recently planned rhythm in one step. Turn a planned shift into a logged one with a tap. Export the plan to your Apple Calendar and get reminders. The planned-versus-actual view shows where you worked longer or shorter than planned.

• Vacation: record vacation days with the continued daily earnings; flows into your monthly result on an hourly wage. You decide how many hours a day of absence counts towards your monthly target.
• Sick leave: record sick leave periods with continued pay; the app derives the paid working days, with a note about the six-week limit. No health data; flows into your monthly result on an hourly wage.
• Bonus and special payment: record bonuses and Christmas pay, treated as a non-recurring payment (difference method) and charged social contributions under the one-time-payment rule.
• Travel expenses and per diems, domestic and abroad.
• Commute costs: business trips and the German commuter allowance.
• Gross-to-net calculator and pension-payment handling.

YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS
Everything stays on your device and, when you are signed in to iCloud, encrypted in your private iCloud. No servers of our own, no tracking, no sharing. Without iCloud everything stays local.

FREE AND PREMIUM
Free gives you the live ticker, also on Apple Watch and as a widget, plus the daily and monthly dashboard for the current and previous month, the roster, the vacation and sick-leave tools, the calculators, the export of your own data and the § 3b calculation with your paid premium rates. Premium unlocks the yearly views, the § 3b fine-tuned rates (core night and high public holidays), additional jobs and the travel, commute and bonus tools. The subscription keeps your calculations current every year: new tax and social-security values, public holidays and travel allowances. The lifetime purchase receives the same updates permanently with a single payment.

### 1.6 — 2026-07-25

More accurate figures, a smoother app and a few finishing touches:

• Vacation and sick days no longer count as negative hours. Your days off now reduce that month's target, so your time account no longer shows a deficit you never caused.
• New: you decide how many hours a vacation or sick day is worth. The setting lives in the Vacation tool and also drives the suggested daily pay. Leave it at 0 and the app derives it from the shifts you logged.
• A day counts once. If a planned day has vacation or sick leave on it, the forecast no longer counts it twice.
• The same figure everywhere: the roster including its PDF, Apple Watch and the yearly overview now calculate exactly like the home screen.
• Smoother: home screen, roster, monthly dashboard and year in review do far less work. Moving between views feels noticeably rounder, and your battery benefits too.
• The premium rates for core night hours and high holidays now show the rate actually used.
• In All jobs mode the widget stays on the combined total, even when you clock in via Siri or your watch.
• Tidied up: the explanatory text in each tool now sits in a card like the rest of the app, and the last German leftovers are gone from the English localisation.

Sick leave, clock in with Siri, and more honest figures:

• Sick leave: Enter your sick leave periods with the continued pay. The app derives your paid working days from it (public holidays count as paid) and points out the six-week limit. Counts as regular pay in your monthly result (hourly wage). No health data.
• Clock in with Siri and Shortcuts: "Clock in" or "Clock out" by voice or tap, optionally for a specific job.
• Clock-out reminder: If you stay clocked in too long, the app reminds you once to clock out (optional, adjustable threshold).
• Public holidays in the roster: Statutory holidays are marked on the calendar, with names in the day detail, matching your federal state.
• Tax year kept clean: Every month calculates with the official figures of its year. If a new year isn't available yet, the app keeps calculating provisionally and says so, instead of quietly going stale.
• Several special payments in one year now build on each other correctly. Recorded bonuses stay in your figures and export even after Premium ends.

Neue Werkzeuge und ein besserer Dienstplan:

• Urlaub: Trag deine Urlaubstage mit dem fortgezahlten Tagesverdienst ein. Er fließt als laufender Lohn in dein Monatsergebnis (bei Stundenlohn).
• Bonus und Sonderzahlung (Premium): Erfasse Prämien und Weihnachtsgeld, absolut oder als Prozentsatz. Sie werden als sonstiger Bezug behandelt und nach der Einmalzahlungs-Regel sozialversichert.
• Rhythmus fortführen: Wähle im Dienstplan einen Tag und führe deinen zuletzt geplanten Rhythmus mit einem Schritt in die Zukunft fort.
• Rollierende Wochen: Die Rotation im Muster kann jetzt wochenweise wechseln, zum Beispiel eine Woche Früh, eine Woche Spät.
• Dienstplan: „Schichtplan erstellen“ (früher „Muster anwenden“) plant den ganzen Monat aus deinen Vorlagen, mit Vorschau der konkreten Tage und Schutz vor versehentlichem Überschreiben. Geplante Schichten übernimmst du mit einem Tippen als erfasste Schicht, und Urlaub trägst du direkt im Kalendertag ein.
• Voraussichtliches Monatsnetto nach Wunsch: In den Einstellungen bestimmst du, ob geplante Schichten, Urlaub, Bonus und Erstattungen in die große Zahl auf dem Startbildschirm einfließen.
• Kalender in deiner App-Sprache, saubere Antriebsauswahl im Firmenwagen-Rechner und viele kleine Feinschliffe in der Darstellung.

Feinschliff, ehrlichere Texte und Fehlerbehebungen:

• Klarere Hinweise zu iCloud und Datenexport: Ohne iCloud-Anmeldung bleibt alles nur auf deinem Gerät, und der Export ist eine lesbare Kopie, kein wiederherstellbares Backup.
• Ohne Premium bleiben ältere Monate und weitere Jobs sichtbar und lassen sich exportieren, nur das Bearbeiten ist gesperrt. Ausgeblendet sind allein die Premium-Auswertungen wie Jahresübersicht, Trends und Wrapped. Der Hilfetext beschreibt das jetzt korrekt.
• Kalender-Export: Die Termine landen in deinem Standardkalender für neue Ereignisse.
• „Alle Daten löschen“ beendet eine laufende Live Activity erst, nachdem wirklich gelöscht wurde.
• Vollständige englische Übersetzung und viele kleine Verbesserungen unter der Haube.

Feinschliff und Fehlerbehebungen für noch verlässlichere Zahlen:

• Reisekosten: Bei Reisen über Mitternacht gibst du jetzt an, ob du übernachtet hast. Ohne Übernachtung rechnet die App korrekt wie bei einer eintägigen Reise, ohne Übernachtungspauschale.
• Zeitkonto: Der Saldo zeigt nur noch echte Zeitkonto-Buchungen. Werden deine Überstunden ausgezahlt oder sind sie abgegolten, siehst du eine ehrliche Stunden-Statistik statt eines Guthabens. Der laufende Monat wird gekennzeichnet und zählt erst nach Monatsende.
• Automatische Pause: Die rechnerisch ergänzte Mindestpause liegt nie mehr direkt am Schichtanfang und zieht exakt die nötige Dauer ab.
• Ein gesperrter Zusatz-Job zeigt das Schloss jetzt direkt am Stempel-Knopf, auch auf der Apple Watch mit klarem Hinweis.
• Kalender: Gelöschte Dienstplan-Einträge räumen ihren Termin zuverlässig auf, auch wenn der Kalenderzugriff erst später erlaubt wird.
• Viele weitere Stabilitäts-Verbesserungen beim Speichern und beim Premium-Abgleich.
