## What is Lomdim?

Lomdim is a simple personal planner for school — your timetable, homework and exams, all in one place.

One message, the whole class's timetable
Every student in a class has the same timetable, and every one of them types it in from scratch. In Lomdim one person enters it and shares it on WhatsApp; everyone else adds it with one tap. The sender picks which days and classes go out, the receiver picks what to take — a whole day or a single class — and sees beforehand what will be added and what would be replaced. No account, no server, nothing uploaded.

Build your timetable once
Add each regular class — subject, teacher, room and times — and it repeats automatically every week. Five, six or seven days: days you don't have class simply don't appear.

See the class you're in right now
The lesson happening at this moment is marked live on the home screen, with a progress bar and how much time is left in it.

Add work where it was given
Tap a class in the daily view and add homework, an exam, or notes on what was covered. Everything files itself under the right subject and date, and shows up in the Homework, Exams and Notes tabs.

Never miss a deadline
• Three automatic reminders before every exam: a week, three days, and a day before.
• Your own custom reminder on any exam or homework item.
• Add any exam or due date straight to Apple Calendar or Google Calendar.

Exams, organised
Upcoming exams sorted by date with a countdown. Past exams keep the grade you got, including your average.

Your lock screen knows what's on
During school hours a Live Activity appears on the lock screen and in the Dynamic Island: which class is running, how many minutes are left, and what comes next — without opening the app. There's a home-screen widget with the next class too.

Import a timetable from a photo (optional)
Photograph your printed timetable and the app reads it for you. You can always build the timetable by hand — every other part of the app works offline.

Private by design
Everything is stored on your device. No account, no sign-in, no tracking.
The single exception is "Import from a photo": if you choose to use it, the photos you pick are sent to Google Gemini solely to read the timetable, using your own free key that you create yourself. Full details in the in-app privacy policy.

For school and university students who want order without the complexity.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.5 — 2026-10-08

Remind me before the next class of a subject: open a lesson, dial in how long before — any length you like — and choose whether it is once or before every class of that subject.

The morning notification now arrives an hour before that day's first lesson instead of at a fixed time, so a late start no longer wakes you for nothing.

Also: the Lock Screen Live Activity moves from class to break without opening the app, and your data is better protected across updates.

### 1.4 — 2026-09-26

Share your timetable: whoever typed the week in sends it to the class group on WhatsApp, and everyone else adds it with one tap. The sender picks which days and classes go out; the receiver picks what to take — a whole day or a single class — and every row says whether it would replace something you already have. No account, no server, nothing uploaded.

Lomdim on iPad: full screen, portrait and landscape, no iPhone frame.

If notifications are off, Home gently reminds you to turn them on — at most once a fortnight.

Fixes: a failed timetable scan no longer spends your daily allowance, and a scan now queries fewer models at once.

### 1.3.1 — 2026-09-24

Fixes a bug that stopped the widget and the Live Activity from updating on their own in the background.

### 1.3 — 2026-09-20

Lock screen & Dynamic Island
• A Live Activity during school hours: which class is on, how long is left, what's next — without opening the app.
• A home-screen widget with the next class.

Flashcards
• Practice quiz: multiple-choice questions from your own cards, offline.
• "All cards" before an exam, and "Reverse" — answer to question.

Homework & exams
• The evening before homework is due: "Did you do it?" — a Done button right on the notification.
• A new lesson picks up the bell times of the same period on other days.
• An exam's grade opens on exam day.

Also
• A "What's new" screen, an option to turn off Face ID for the API key, and fixes.

### 1.2 — 2026-09-16

Flashcards that know about your exams
• Every upcoming exam shows its deck and how many cards are due — one tap to study.
• Home reminds you when cards are due, and so do the exam reminders.
• Create flashcards with AI from a class note or "what to study" — you approve every card.
• Study with three grades: again / hard / knew it, plus a summary at the end.

Timetable import
• The key is checked the moment you paste it, with an explanation screen before the first upload to Google.
• AI usage meter in About: actions and tokens as counted by Google, and when the quota resets. The app keeps itself inside the free tier.

Also
• Localized app name, wording fixes, and a fix for subjects that aren't in the timetable.
• "Got an idea?" — write to us straight from the app.
