## What is LON?

LON is a multilingual translation and learning app built around on-device processing.

There is no source-language setup and no maze of input fields. Type text, speak, or capture an image. LON detects the language and presents the translation directly. Translation, recognition, speech, and lesson generation are designed to happen on your device, keeping the workflow focused and your content local.

LON requires no account for its core experience and does not depend on a developer-operated cloud translation service. System Dictation and voice availability can vary by device, system settings, and installed language resources.
