The data I have says it is "stale" and that I should "tap to retry" but there is no indication as to where or what to tap. Force closing the app does not update the data. It seems that it could be useful if it delivered up-to-date data but alas it dies nothing of the kind. Stuck with 4 day old particulate data it's not much use. It's stuck on the readings collected 4 days ago. Reinstalled it - even worse - now it doesn't show the authorities list. If you want to see where the reading was taken and you click on "see on map" it just shows the map of the whole of London. ### 1/5 — Does not update the Authorities data. *2015-10-19, version 4.0.3* It keeps flashing "Updating..." every 10 seconds or so but nothing happens. This has not yet happened so I find this app very useful as being asthmatic I avoid outdoors activities when air quality is predicted to be particularly bad. You favourite some areas, and it sends the latest data straight to you if the pollution there gets beyond a certain point. Handy as I cycle and get a sore throat and cough on bad air days.
