Very inaccurate timings that I can’t predict ### 2/5 — Difficult for non-Londoners *2025-06-13, version 11.2.1* I used to use this app extensively while in London. Now that I’m back I can find any basic info about the bus I want to use or find the optimal bus to use. I’m probably going to stop using it ### 2/5 — Endless adverts make it almost unusable *2024-10-18* The ‘new and improved’ version is much worse than the original. Being forced to watch yet another of the ubiquitous adverts for some pointless Crazy-Bird type game for at least a minute before being able to cancel it makes this app useless at exactly the moments you most need it. Graphics are also cheap & nasty compared to the old app, and some of the old features have been made unnecessarily complicated. ### 1/5 — Used to be really useful, now fairly unusable. *2024-09-24, version 10.49* I’m not sure if this is run by the same. Developer, sold to a new developer or the company sold to a new owner but whichever it is, they have turned an indispensible part of my travel toolkit into a useless ad clickbait trap. A modest fee would be preferable to this. Complete fail. ### 1/5 — No longer usable *2024-09-10, version 10.49* This app used to be great. Now it either shows buses that never turn up or doesn’t show buses that do. You might as well guess for all the good this does now. It’s been like it for about a year and I’ve finally given up hope it will get back to how it was. I can only assume it was canned because the phone is where the ads get shown. But there's no indication that if I shell out to stop the ads there will also be a Watch app. Also, the interface is generally much poorer than the old app. Disappointed. ### 1/5 — App unusable because of ads *2024-06-23, version 10.46.1* Agree with previous people. Don’t mind ads. But an ad every single time you try to use, and multiple times per session makes it impossible. You’ve changed it for the worse! ### 1/5 — From Indispensable to Completely Unsuable *2024-06-12, version 10.46.1* This app used to be absolutely indispensable in London and I used it every day. However, ever since we had to download this ‘new’ version last week, it has become completely unusable due to the ads. I’ve now deleted this (the app we all knew and loved has long since gone), and I’m using the alternative ‘Bus Times’ app instead. Incredible fall from grace. ### 1/5 — Oh Lord! What have you done! *2024-06-07, version 10.46.1* I first starting using this app 10yrs ago and it quite literally changed my life. I used to commute by bus and it made connections, timings and route planning soo easy. For two or three years it really was the best app ever. But now they have upgraded it. Amd it is impossible to overstate how awful this app has become; clunky to use, intrusive ads, ridiculous need to sign in to use advanced features etc etc. I have now gone back to the sub-par TfL app and hope the developers burn in hell for what they have done to this… PS The only reason it gets 1 star is that Ape won’t let me give it zero ### 1/5 — Used to be good but …Unbearable ads…. *2024-06-05, version 10.46.1* …..Some lasting for what seems an age of five minutes - which is the last thing you need to pop up before it allows you the information you’re looking for when you’re stood at a stop in a rush trying to work out what bus or your connections !! There are much better apps on the App Store that do the same job without this app breaking issue!!! ### 2/5 — Ads are too long *2024-05-20, version 10.46.1* Some of the adds last a long time and make this app very frustrating when you’re trying to arrange your travel options quickly. The long adverts come up every time you’ve not used the app for a an hour or so I think. ### 2/5 — Unusable due to ads *2024-04-26, version 10.45.1* I appreciate the need for ads for revenue but I can no longer use this app because the ads take so long when you’re trying to check quickly if a bus is coming or not. A 5 sec as would be fine, but they are 30 seconds. I’d happily pay for the removal, if it wasn’t so expensive,£6.99, most other apps are a £1 or £2. I have to make sometimes 5 or 6 attempts to open it successfully and the adds make it impossible. But this app allows scam adverts that pop up and say things like “Your phone has been infected” and say that you can’t continue using your device unless you download a clean-up app. (Of course, this is not true. It’s a scam.) This is disgraceful and I am surprised that Apple allows the developers to do this. Some people will be alarmed by these scam messages and will pay for a service they don’t need. Such scaremongering and con tricks should be stopped now. ### 1/5 — What Happened?! *2026-01-24, version 11.6.0* This app used to be great, was always a go to when needing to check times. Now? Constantly and consistently behind.
