It’s inconvenient that the app boots you to the browser for online shopping and even when logged in, you have to reset your preferred store. Images are painfully slow to load, and the scrolling functionality is faulty when trying to get to the description of the item and see the quantity available in-store. Online shopping feels clunky. It’s just not a pleasant experience on mobile. ### 1/5 — Unreliable *2026-04-04* Tried to re order my meds through app Was told there was a “glitch” when I called. To redeem points you have to sign on to the app with a password, activate the points and then redeem. Hate the app. it is so frustratingly slow, search bar is painful, when you click on a product, it doesn’t take you back to where you left off, it starts all over again. My husband thinks it’s great, because I get frustrated, leave my cart full of stuff and close the app. Unfortunately, for you and him, I just go somewhere else to spend my money. Both are slow, they jam, making it impossible to proceed after looking at the first item. I can’t be the only one. Way to loose potential sales out of frustration. I'm not and I can't. After 20 minutes I finally gave up. Love the Store, love the people but this app simply doesn't work for me. ### 1/5 — Why is this app so bad? *2025-10-02, version 5.11.6* Honestly one of the worst apps from a retailer or loyalty program. Constantly logging you out of the app. Points from transactions take days to appear, but only if you log out and log back in will you see the actual details. Personal offers fail to load, despite repeated attempts. All of which would be fine if the offers were actually compelling. Maybe take a look at the PC Optimum app for how a loyalty program should function with no issues with the app and little effort to log in or load offers, with instant point and transaction updates. Plus it has offers that are actually worth logging in for. Sadly, all these issues have definitely resulted in me spending less at London Drugs, which is the exact opposite of what you want to achieve with a loyalty program. ### 1/5 — Ugh *2025-09-23, version 5.11.6* It won't send password reset link, I have tried multiple times. ### 1/5 — Just as awful as the website *2025-09-17, version 5.11.6* Poorly developed just like their website. The Cumulative Layout Shift is incredibly infuriating. So I guess I won’t be a customer. ### 3/5 — Download an ap that sends the users to their website? *2025-09-06, version 5.11.6* I’m surprised that a Great Canadian Tech Retailer would still be so far behind on their stand alone ap development. The last thing I expected was to be sent to the London Drugs website so I could book in my iPhone for service. I have repeatedly been locked out of my account, specifically for the pharmacy side. It seems highly risky to try and combine two completely different apps into one. Separate these and focus on making the pharmacy side reliable. ### 1/5 — Absolutely useless *2026-07-05, version 5.13.0* The *only* reason I even bothered downloading this app was to make refilling my prescriptions easier. But instead of just being able to enter the information off my latest refill, it asked for a photograph. And then I couldn’t upload the photo. Completely useless. It won’t even install! Non intuitive, only useful for points, and painful at that. A bit of a joke. Painful login and just what the heck is this? Do you get the computer department at a slower store to make this app at home? Right here in the app store, app shows it collects tracking info that is used across other apps and sites, so they share data about you. App is also painful and logging in is also painful. Impossible sign in & can’t get my rewards. The old program (years ago) worked at the till with your phone #. I’d like to buy things online from your store but this app makes it impossible to shop. I went to another website just to make sure it wasn’t my phone. Nope! I want to make mention of a young clerk who was very helpful to me. His name is Nick. He went above and beyond, was very professional and polite. Grace S took the time to explain the warranty on the air fryer that I just purchased. She is very polite and very knowledgeable! Absolutely amazing customer service! Thank you, Grace S! ### 5/5 — Exceptional Cosmetician! *2024-09-24* I have been wanting to do this review for a couple of month now but had to get this lovely ladies name. Found out it is Jan and she is in the Red Deer location. I have am in my late fifties and have troubled skin issues like Rosacea and aging skin. I have been afraid of trying different skin treatments to help with the aging skin, as it may flair my Rosacea. I explained my predicament with Jan and she suggested a Biotherm routine. I have now been using a day serum and cream plus a nighttime serum and cream and have had no flair ups, thank you Jan! Jan is not only knowledgeable but a very professional and friendly lady to work with. I do hope that she gets recognized for her exceptional work she does at London Drugs. The clerk came when my husband was having trouble getting them out of the stack they were in on a pallet. They toppled over on him. I was extremely grateful to the clerk with the wrist cast on who just had surgery - she was amazingly helpful. Plus, the younger clerk Connor who was very patient and helpful and kind - all the staff were very friendly. I was extremely impressed with the store staff who helped us they were very thoughtful and courteous.
