But the other half is always a disaster. The app won’t open, cabs don’t respond quickly, location glitches. ### 1/5 — If you're handicapped don't use *2017-06-18, version 3.6.33* With a scheduled wheelchair accessible ride they won't bother sending a cab or calling to check if the user is handicapped. They just will pretend the booking wasn't made and not send anyone. Incredibly annoying and then screws the user over. They took $200 from my bank account plus the $15 charge for the ride the first time then it was $50 from the account plus the $15 ride the second time. The $200 and the $50 were put back the next day but is that really necessary? NOT worth it!! *2024-10-03, version 7.14.0* I would not recommend Yellow Taxi Service to anyone. First, the driver didn’t even pick us up at the designated location. Instead, he made us cross the street to meet him, which was incredibly inconvenient. But that wasn't the worst part. We were overcharged during the ride, and on top of that, we were double charged—once in the taxi and again through the app. When I reached out for compensation, all they offered was a gift card, which was nowhere near the value of what I lost. I’ve never had such a poor experience with a ride service. Uber is much more reliable. So the car was not there when I got out and customer service just tells me that I should call them to make time changes in the future and it is not the driver’s fault. What’s the point of the app if you have to do everything through calls? I don’t why they recommend to get it the app doesn’t give an estimated price whatsoever let alone a flat rate. You can’t access any of you’re booked cabs so you dong even know if the driver accepted your booking. And nothing else is accessible either not even the sign out option. It didn’t pair me with someone until close to the time so they didn’t come when I scheduled it. And they were over 10 mins away. On top of that I can’t even log in with my phone number so it’s literally all completely useless. Broken. ### 5/5 — Cabbies don’t answer *2018-11-22, version 5.5.32* I tried using the app five times this week and it keeps on searching for drivers, even though there’s multiple in the area. ### 2/5 — Ok app *2025-02-09, version 7.15.0* The whole reason I got the app was to guarantee the price, and prevent over paying due to construction or drivers not knowing where they are going. Without that you may as well just call. Oh and be sure to make sure you aren’t charged a fee for ‘waiting’ some drivers like to say they there early so they can up charge you while you are standing out waiting for them. ### 2/5 — Well... *2020-07-24, version 6.0.15* Love the company, drivers are usually really friendly, don’t mind chatting, etc, etc. The app, however, sucks. I can log in, I can book a ride.
